Sean Payton stepping down in New Orleans

They were a disaster the year he was gone for suspension. Can't see this franchise improving with this news

Without Drew Brees anymore I'd step down also.

Cowboys is the rumor of the day.
Wiley on FS1 just made an interesting comment.
Dallas doesn't need different version of Mike McCarthy.

So much better. I don’t think people understand how bad MM is…although, I think he’s a much better coach now than he was in GB…

So he still has 3 years remaining on the deal? The rights belong to New Orleans. Interesting.

Dang... I wonder if the owner would let him walk to any team?? Then the other point to this.... if you holdout for 3 years... do you really want to coach again?? Are you the same person 3 years later away from football? Odd situation.

It's almost like he's hoping he can just leave the deal and go elsewhere.

HA HA!! Great photo! Dude seems to be living the high life. He clearly wants to be around a QB like Brees. I know he's on his own level... but he definitely wants to coach a Top 5 QB currently in this league.

Correct... rumors are that Wilson doesn't want to be there?? If he leaves... Carroll is gone too. He's another HC that needs a top 5 QB to succeed.

It's their job and it's not even year around, and that's nothing majority of coaches do it way way, longer, Guys an NFL coach, as soon as he sees it was going to be an uphill battle, he split still got 3 years on his contract you think he does this if Justin Herbert is at QB? Of course not.

What he is going to do is get a broadcasting job for a few years make close to what he was making coaching with a quarter of the work then in a few years come back when coaches are getting paid more and fall into a mint job, its brilliant actually.
