From Only A Non Biased ViewPoint

Who thinks Patriots actually got robbed a bit in that Super Bowl

Two calls that should of been overturned, everyone ,

all the announcers plus replay commentators said they both

would be overturned on the Eagles 2 touchdowns , yet neither of them were

And the touchdown throw to Foles as WR was proven to be a illegal play

    http://patriotswire.usatoday.com/201...-illegal-play/

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/e...wl-trick-play/

I swear, with Patriots doing the same offensive output they win that game straight up 99.4443384% of the time

Foles made some great throws , and every single thing Eagles coach went for worked out

Illegal or not , should of been overturned or not ....

Who thinks Patriots got robbed a bit in that super bowl ?

    And I know , I know , I know .... Patriots defense was atrocious

And BellyChex dropped the ball not playing Butler

If the referee who ruled a fumble against Jacksonville didn't strangely blow his whistle and prevent Jacksonville from going up 17 in the 4th quarter, the Pats would never have had the opportunity to be in the Super Bowl. I think they caught enough breaks throughout the course of the year.

true man ,Eagles played their hearts out
its not their fault the refs made or did not make the calls

But there is something very strange about that Super Bowl that is sticking with me
Like a strange anomaly occurred far more unreal then people are allowing themselves to take in
That was the Patriots , the team that always gets the calls , the plays, the trickery , the execution
the coaching , the intangibles, and just about everything else.... and NONE of it went their way

I cat wrap my mind around it and refuse to watch the game in full again cuz I dont want to be farther mindblown

Exactly , but guess what .... thats how its suppose to go for the Patriots
IM not a fan of them , Im not a fan of any NFL team , I love the game so much and betting on it
I wont allow myself to favor a team if even for the subconscious factor of

worrying about it changing my betting habits
But cmon , its the Pats who get all that . Foles? Eagles? The team of destiny .

But you are right in a way I did lose some money .
I lost 5 units on Patriots MoneyLine , I also lost what would of been about 500 bucks
on parlays and other shit I had with Pats ML being the last leg

It was rough , confusing ,, I isolated myself at the place I watched it at
then left and came home early to a empty house

Took a few days off and realized that I didnt really make a bad play

calmed myself down , and look

Got back those 5 important units I lost on the Super Bowl and then some

But still bothering me a bit cuz take off that 5 and add about 5 , thats a 10 unit swing

Easily be at 60 units instead of 50 but what can ya do .

Rudy, give me a internet high 5 for getting those brutal units back , I know you have it in you

no one cares about your past record

just as no one cares about what you think about your opinions of the super bowl

    take this as constructive criticism

This was brought up in a thread where PaulyPoker had shown the Public Consensus numbers had a large imbalance of money on the Eagles which would indicate that all the calls would go in favor of the Patriots to burn the Eagles backers. However as you say, the refs had a few legit opportunities to make questionable calls in favor of the Pats and did not. (Some will say those Consensus numbers are worthless....I'm not getting into that)

It was evident to me that the final four College playoffs, as well as the NFL playoffs were called with far less penalties than the regular season, and it was enjoyable watching "Let em play" football.

Doesn't answer your question but these were my observations. I lost 260 on the Patriots moneyline, nothing crazy.

How about when the eagles were up 15-6 late in the first quarter and Alshon Jeffrey was clearly interfered with? Instead of 1st and goal at the 2 yard line (which would have inevitably resulted in a 22-6 score), the pats intercepted the pass and went right down and scored making the score 15-12.

So 15-12 instead of 22-6 due to a ref screw up. Thats a complete game changer.

Pats and the word robbed in the same sentence. I guess that is how you have to feel when you get every call every game for over a decade while cheating at every turn.

    Pats get all the breaks

Not that it makes it ok for the refs to continuously mess up on these calls, because of the Patriots past.
