The taxpayers didn't want to fund a new stadium. Dean Spanos would rather have Stan Kroenke be his landlord and double his team's worth than spend a penny of his own money to make it work in SD. I feel bad for SD because they loved the Chargers. Now we have to deal with them in LA.

Way too many teams in LA , want to go to LA, etc.
You'd think owners would get a clue

Rams the 12th most valuable sports team now according to Forbes. Didn't crack the top 50 in StL

Owners are not stupid. It's free money.

Owners aren't stupid but now will have 3 teams in LA?
You would have thought that they would have a better solution to this

There is only one football team in L.A. and that is USC. Uceless, The chargers and the Rams are just poor excuses for men wanting to be football players. The truth of the matter is that Big Business controls the NFL. No one cares what the fans may think. Corporations buy season tickets to treat their people and customers to a game. San Diego has always been a terrible sports town. They lost their NBA team. They have one of the worst MLB teams around. Now they lost their NFL team which never won much of anything. San Diego, much like San Francisco, is becoming a quiche and wine town, not a sports town.

Not really- Angelenos love the Lakers and Dodgers. The Kings have a rabid fan base too. Everything else is bandwagon, true.

I know of a few guys who bought season seats to both Rams and Chargers lol.

Not a bad idea by your buddy. If either team ever starts winning, the tickets will become a hot item. I actually think the Chargers could surprise this year. There's a lot of young talent on the team and they finally addressed the oline.

Schuter mickgavin, transplants. Tough to find a non-hispanic 2nd generation San diegan.

San Diego would be nothing without the transplants, yet thats the reason the chargers are gone lol

big IF though, williams was going to be the safety valve if allen went down again... now if he gets hurt which is a coin toss at this point our wr 1 again will be tyrell williams smh.... solid WR but should be a wr 3-4

disagree about tyrell, I think he is a legit 2...either way, obviously it's better for the offense to have mike williams a part of it...just saw a tweet by Ian Rappaport from NFL.com that said surgery was being talked about 3-4 weeks ago but Williams is on the mend now...we will see how this unfolds, hopefully he just needs a little R&R and he will be ready to go for the preseason.

ideally would be Allen Slot WR, Travis Benjamin deep threat, Tyrell WR 2-3 range , Mike Will and Henry/Gates red Zone threats and 50/50 balls

hopefully he heals up, would suck to have a top pick out entire first season.... want Rivers to build some chemistry with him
