I can't tell you how hard it is to be an Atlanta sports fan

Just name the sport and we find a way to choke.

This team will have another shot at it in the next years. Pretty sure they will.

We have a good kicker, why pass? At least I didn't bet this game.

I do have to tip my hat to the Pats.

I'm a Cleveland fan so i can feel your pain.

I lived in Atlanta and have a lot of friends there. What a gut wrenching loss. That was brutal to watch Arthur Blank.

I'm a Northern Iowa basketball fan. I still have nightmares about the A&M game last March, and this reminded me of it. I literally laid in bed for 3 hours unable to sleep that night, too pissed off. At least Atlanta should be set up to be successful next year.

Did the Falcons have any key injuries this year? I really don't think they get back. So hard to keep everyone healthy and have year like that. Hope I'm wrong - seems like the owners are good people and deserve one but this has to hurt

Feel bad for Mr. Blank, guy was so excited then the look on his face when he knew his team would choke

Kinda dont like that guy Dan Quinn, celebrating every little Pats miscue like he won the game. You dont celebrate other teams miscues like a missed XP, you see belichick doing stupid shit like that? Called Karma guey, cost his team the game.

Falcons choked like buffalo back in the day. I felt confident they'd win and was winning the +3 entire 60 min game. I feel even worse for you fans. Should have been your year no doubt

I agree, but on the other hand: one or two injuries to key players and anything is possible. Hard to say what happens in a sport like this with all the injuries etc. I think they have a good core of a team together.

Teams that lose the Superbowl usually have a tough time getting back. Carolina, Seattle, now Atlanta. Atlanta is cooked after this one

Arthur Blank has done so much for Atlanta. It's terrible he had to witness that game.

As a long time Atlanta fan I see one good thing about the loss.

Brady gets the last laugh on Goodell.

Freeman missed his block which led to the sack. Besides, I bet Ryan didn't call that play.

Great point, that pisses me off to no end. But every coach in the league outside of Belichick does it. Rex Ryan does it down 20 points. Quinn pumping his fist after every incomplete pass. Another gem from the Pete Carroll coaching tree, with Bevel and Bradley.

You are correct sir. That was early 90s.

Maddox - Glavin - Smoltz and 1 world series.

Fast forward a few years and my old girlfriend worked in the front office.

I have been to multiple world series games and I don't remember them ever winning. It should have been the time of my life but I just watched waiting for them to choke. They always did.

The home run derby was fun though. Ended up with some nice SWAG at a VIP after party and met Sammy Sosa. He definitely was on juice.

That was an excruciating loss - Only thing comparable for me was the Packer/Seattle debacle in the NFC Champ 2 years ago. I still have nightmares about that collapse. You can't get those back...

If something like this happens in a regular season game then whatever, but in the superbowl? Cmon man...

Just flat out bonehead coaching and execution that you think would be impossible at this level... Just shows you how stupid NFL coaches and players really are. Unless you are Brady and Belichick
