also ive always said that herschel walker was the best athlete any of us have ever seen and his name is stained because of a stupid fukkin trade that he had no input on

best college back ever, truly GREAT pro back, winter olympian

anyone could say, well, bo could have done that....bottom line is like d2bets said...he didnt

mma too for herschel but that shit dont really count

    lol he is SO underrated

Walker (who had a better NFL career than a lot of people remember) is ninth in NFL history in all-purpose yards, with 18,168, but if you add in the numbers he put up in the USFL, he’d surpass Jerry Rice for first place all-time.

Yes but not the best college back ever..I will release my top 3 tomorrow

I got him 3rd........stats mean nothing when rating greats..more pure physical ability, speed, power, size

Plenty of midgets had great college careers but would crumble against top flight competition and in the pros

    Your embarrassing yourself

No one close to Herschel in college history

Just about single handedly lead his team to a natl championship as a freshman. Could have won Heisman all three years he was in college.

Only dogging him in the context of the conversation. Being called the best will put everyone under the microscope. Obviously he was a great talent but he just doesn't measure up to the best of all time.

Not even close. Sanders GREAT in NFL, well below avg in MLB.
I dunno what you watched when he played baseball but he didn't offer much. He wasn't even a good base-stealer.
Jackson was well above average in both sports. Guy never gets injured he goes down as one of the greatest pro-athletes of all-time easily.

Your not reading kid.....its not about what some guy did as far as wins and loses, playoffs, ect. Bo was only guy in NFL history that could go 80 yards on any given play, most feared back ever. Too bad he did not play for a real team that gave him the ball a lot..he played for Arty Shell one of dumbest nfl coaches of all times. I want Bo getting ball 30 times in a NFL game more than Sanders anyday.

you have a different idea of what average is if bo was a well above average baseball player...everyone in awe of a couple tape measure home runs and some amazing defensive plays....the reality is that outside of the highlight reel he wasnt very good...sure he had amazing raw talent but raw is the key word there

and the point is that you can say "if" if you want to, but thats the point...0 1000 yard seasons and 2800 career yards....how does that make anyone the best ever at anything?

herschel spends three amazing years in the usfl and is still 9th all time in all purpose yards in the nfl and cant sniff the hall of fame....that part is incredible to me

how can one gueys legend be so enormous and the other guey who was always the better of the two is all but completely forgotten?
