Matt Schaub will NEVER start another game for the texans

    Kubiak has no choice here.

When Yates is your backup, you have Starting Job Security. For this year. The next Head Coach/GM will probably try to make a Redskin type trade for Bridgewater.

yates isn't good enough to start so schaub is safe for now. if their backup qb was any good he should have replaced schaub right after that pick 6 in the 1st qtr tonight

Schaub can be a decent game manager. That's what the team is built for and what's what they need.

He has a 91 career QB rating being a game manager.

His days are running out but Kubiak has no other viable option and I don't see Warren Moon walking thru that door. Hey I know of a kid who was just released and he's put up some amazing #'s in a couple games but not much nfl experience. His name is Flynn give him a shot! Lol

    Houston's Kubiak sticking with Schaub

    By KRISTIE RIEKEN
    AP Sports Writer

HOUSTON (AP) — Matt Schaub still has his starting job.
Houston coach Gary Kubiak is sure of that. He's less certain of how to get his veteran quarterback back on track and the Texans back in the win column.
But he knows it isnát by benching him.
"You watch the struggle and you just want to be a part of the solution," Kubiak said.
"You want to be a part of helping him work his way through that. The only way I know how to do it is you play our way through that stuff. So that's what I'm trying to help him with and figure out and push him through it, so that our football game can push through it."
Schaub threw three interceptions in Houston's blowout loss to San Francisco on Sunday night that extended the team's losing streak to three games.
His first interception was returned for a touchdown, marking the fourth straight game that an opponent had taken one of his interceptions for a score.
Kubiak is worried about Schaub's confidence and is looking for ways to help him be successful again.
"That's only natural," he said when asked about the possibility of Schaub's confidence wavering. "For some of those things to happen to you over a period of time, yeah you worry about that. But the reason he's played a long time is because he's very tough mentally, physically."

Are we watching the same games? He spots the other team a touchdown every game... that's unacceptable... his qb rating last game was in the 30's. He's so bad that when he threw his jersey in the laundry hamper, the hamper ran it back for a touchdown!!! ;-))

i would have liked to hit this m'fer with a brick when he threw that pick 6 against sea, that shit cost me a fortune..gm managers dont blindly throw that ball up when if they punt they win.. fukk this asshole. never forgive him for that one... coach isnt much better, they a hell of a combo, why even call that damn play, hand the ball off, run some more clock, if you gotta punt and pin them inside the 20 so be it the defense was eating up sea oline..

HA... unfortunately my guess is i made my bet well before LB said that and i dont really base my capping off his plays or really bother to look for them. although might not be the worst idea, lol...

This franchise is an unbelievable mess. They have a QB with no confidence and a retard of a coach that plays right into the oppositions strengths.
