    Bears ML 170 and why.....

Jason Campbell is a smart, very experienced QB
(well, for a backup, he's a pretty darn good one)

This Kaepernick kid might not be ready for MNF.

Bears have 26 sacks in 9 games, which puts them
on pace for 3-4th best in the NFL after tonight.

Bears have the 5th best run-defense in the NFL.
    Avg allowed 92.3 YPG

Bears 170 is good value for what is a pick'em
    game.

wow a thread with some information. hats off to you for at least attempting to cap a game. so many morons just posting whore threads.

i dont really think the kaepernick factor will downgrade SF. in fact, in my opinion it makes san fran a better team. he can at least put some velocity on his throws and he can also run around. im impressed with what ive seen from him. all you need to do in san fran's little 5 yard pass system is dink and dunk and extend drives. perfect set up for a back up

bears have a good D, niners have a good D. for me it comes down to which D will get to the other qb and force mistakes. in that case i'll take SF D vs chicago O line.

it is a very intriguing game. i can understand why you see value on the bears though. i see a 20-17 SF win on the foot of the kicker that wont die.

my advice is take the spread if you like the bears. the half point should come in handy in a close game.

I did take some Bears +4 along with the money line.

    Campbell is an exciting QB
I hope he is given some leeway.
But it's really the Bears D against an unproven QB that finalizes the call.
He's gonna F up at some point, too much pressure from the Bears pass rush.
And SF will have to let him throw, Bears D is too strong against the run
for SF to just run run run.

Hope it isn't a very big bet, you only provided 2 stats in which the 9ers aren't far behind in either stat.

Cutler covered up some of the deficiencies of the Bears O line. Not sure Campbell will hold up against the Niners front 7. Then again, i think the niners secondary is very vulnerable. Kapearnick's mobility should change field position and provide a few points. If he holds on to the ball i think the Niners win a close game. I'd take the points instead of Bears ML

and those two stats show how the Bears are among the best at:
    1) stopping the run
    2) sacking the QB

against a first-time starter on MNF.

What am I missing? Alex Smith was ruled out? He's probable for tonight to my knowledge so why would you mention Kaepernick?

I see he has been ruled out. Fairly embarrassing that a site like Covers still has him listed as probable.

Chicago's last 3 games they have given up 127, 159, and 119 on the ground. You aren't worried the YPG against the bears is skewed by a great start to the season, where they held opponents to less than 65 In 4 out of their first 5 games?

Teasing through 0...yikes. at least you got a decent number. Bears +10.5 looks much better to me, but good luck

Teasing through 0 being bad is a huge misconception. As long as you tease it through the key numbers there is equity. Good luck to you too!
