hard to say emmit smith was better than sanders who played with a much worse offense and qb and yet still averaged more yards per carry when guys were stacking the box 8 and 9 deep. smith was getting 6 in the box with that great dallas passing attack and averaged how many ypc?

Barry Sanders was twice the RB emmit was. Emmit had one of the best offensive lines, and a great passing attack to keep the backfield busy. Proof is his performance on the cards when he sucked because he didn't have the rest of the elite cowboys (especially that offensive line) there to help him look good. One of the most over rated athletes of the 90's
And as an Emmit fan you should be more embarrassed by his appearance on dancing with the stars than when he showed his true talent with the Cards..which was no talent lmao
