Whether the % are accurate or not, i am fairly certain more individuals had the broncos tonight than the chargers. San diego is usually not a public team, and peyton manning is a fan favorite.

I post on this part of the forum daily. How would you feel if some went in your thread and accused you of being a troll that make multiple accounts.
It's illegal to make multiple accounts on SBR. If this was on the Covers forum, then yea there are multiple accounts on that site because there are no rules against multiple accounts. Detecting an account's IP address can determine of a user of having multiple accounts.
If you don't believe fading the public is profitable, then you have the right to gamble money your way.

I don't think public betting percentages are completely worthless, but the simple percentage is a gross simplification of the data that makes it up. Bets are distributed all over the different prices and line moves, teasers, parlays, spreads and MLs. Big money isn't always smart money, and it takes different amounts of money to change a line depending on when the bets are placed, who's making the bets. History of the line over the course of the week tells more than just looking at the gameday swing. The most important factor that doesn't get mentioned is how sharp the line is to start with, if the game is featuring a big public team and/or if the books actually have an opinion on the game because of whatever information they have. The starting point matters a lot.
So IF someone is a skilled capper that can produce consistently good lines also does good analysis on the line movement over time, and makes a few smart assumptions, then the public betting numbers can have some value. But "betting against the public" as a concept is too simple to succeed over a large sample.
