LT Profits "Trent Dilfer better than Dan Marino"

Talk about embarrassing yourself on a public forum. Boy thinks Dilfer is a better quarterback than Dan Marino, can't even make this shit up. Guy finds a way to embarrass his family name more than it already is.

The Eli Manning thread, better rating, completion %, yards per attempt, yards per catch = worse quarterback than one with lower numbers across the board but has a SB ring. Can't even make this up.

p19101's reading comprehension is too embarrassing for me to insult the kid. Bad parenting and reality has done enough, run along little one.

Um, WHAT? You were foolishly claiming that Matt Schaub is better than Eli Manning, which anyone with half a brain (which apparently you lack) would say is utterly ridiculous. And I supported my argument by Manning leading the Giants to two Super Bowl wins and Schaub having never winning a playoff game, as well as the history of each in the fourth quarter. The analogy that YOU are making about Dilfer > Marino (which I never said nor did I even bring those names up despite you putting it in quotes in the thread title) does not hold water because Manning actually proved his worth by his performances in the two Super Bowls while Dilfer did nothing but manage the game and was just along for the ride.

Damn had me scared for a second thinking LT had lost his fukkin mind And yes Dilfer did NOTHING for that team his job was to manage the game and not fukk up. 00 Ravens defense and 85 Bears did not need a great QB just a scrub that could manage things.

Comparing QB ratings is often ridiculous. I haven't looked this up, but I would say Dilfer probabaly has a better rating than Sammy Baugh.

Trent Dilfer - the worst QB in the history of the NFL with a superbowl ring.

Trent single handedly makes the ring requirement moot. If he can get one, and Marino not - proves that championships in the NFL doesn't determine greatness.

Dilfer = Grossman. Only difference, Ravens D won it all for Trent. The Bears D could only do so much for Rex.

I tend to remember one game (yes, I know one game) where Dilfer had internal bleeding during the game from an internal injury (spleen rupture, I think) and still went on to finish the game and actually engineer a go ahead drive. He was valuable as simply a utility player in TB then and knew his role.

What Marino did in his era with the dolphins is short of amazing.. But within the next 5 years Marino will be bumped down from top 10 players of all time to 11-20.

That was Chris Simms, not Dilfer.

the thought that my boy LT would say this is moronic. But in dilfers defense he wasn't a world beater but he did manage games and make big throws at the right times for his ring. But the D that year for the ravens was so nasty lol.
