i guess curtis martin's knee is really in question now if they go make a trade for barlow.

That's why they did the original deal with Cleveland for Suggs. The earliest you'll see Martin this year is halfway through the season.

My take is this: Barlow is added only for depth. I'm willing to say that Blaylock and Houston are still the front runners for the starting tailback position. I think, if Barlow doesn't work hard here, he might be out of football next year. The Jets are gonna struggle this year, no question about it.
