    Pats backers, guess its getting to be time to decide

    -2.5 -117 or -3 +105 ????

    I'm leaning towards the -3 +105. Could get a push but a push is not a loss if it does land on 3. Course a push is not a win but it does save a big .17 if the bet losses. And do like getting +105 at a fg. I think if NE wins it will likely be by a td or two.

    We have to decide now because the line isn't going to get any better?

    So stumped on Superbowl right now.

    NYG has to be the play.

    You won't know any more. Bellichek ain't talking. Pretty good bet that:

    1) He will play;
    2) Though he's not 100%, and;
    3) He could get reinjured, but if he doesn't;
    4) He will be a factor.

    If you're waiting for more certainty, don't count on placing a wager. I think his uncertainty is baked into the current number. If he was 100%, I think the line would be a high 3/3.5. You can't know if he will be 100% though. I suppose it's possible they could declare him out, but it's extraordinarily unlikely that they officially rule him out.

    Recent SB injuries with high ankle sprains don't bode well for the Pats. Pouncey didn't play last year w/the same injury and Freeney was a non-factor back in 2006. You also can't look at the 2nd half of the AFC Championship game because that type of injury takes 1 to 2 days to make itself fully felt. Take the safe route, bet the Giants.

    I'm also starting to think a prop bet against Gronkowski could be a wise play Sunday.

    Didn't Brady have a high ankle sprain in '08?

    He had an ankle sprain, not a high ankle sprain I'm pretty sure. There is a big difference as a high ankle sprain is the worst kind you can get (to the best of my knowledge). Nobody really knows the severity outside of the team really.

    Pats win by 6 points exactly +2900.

    Up a field goal, they kick another one to force NYG to score a touchdown, and Eli gives everybody a heart attack in the final minute by throwing an INT in the end zone...

    If you like NE, you would want -2.5 -117 not -3 +105.

    If you shop you can get New England -135 on the moneyline... Currently, of the three, probably the best choice...

    Think I read that only 7% of playoff games have ever gone to OT and the Super Bowl has never one into overtime.

    That's why its +800 but could be worth a shot ...
