Thanks for this. Nothing to add right now but I just wanted to thank you because it's hard as hell to find ref assignments.

They, like the other crews have been calling very few calls this post-season...Been letting them play...I have noticed a lot more grabbing and contact by the DB. That DB guarding Pita yesterday, pretty much just tossed him aside and almost intercepted it on the play before the missed FG.

No problem. Haven't heard anyone else mentioning it. No talk of Baltimore playing the Patriots very physical and the refs letting them get away with it. Regs are a bigger factor than most think

Gary Arthur is a good dude...Works as a bank manager and likes Opera

Had to do a little research on the rest...Gary Cavaletto is a plumber, likes west coast rap.

Tony Steratore is retired, but has an ebay business on the side(sports memorabilia mostly)

Carl Cavaletto owns a restaurant in Jersey...Not a popular joint by any means, but somehow it stays open..

John Parry is a lawyer. Loves hockey and Facebook.

Couldn't find much on Laird Hayes.

If we could find out what kind of toilet paper Laird Hayes uses I think I might have a lock for this game.

I know its a part time gig but shouldn't these guys make enough money from the season to not have to work? Would seem odd to have an average bank manager on the Super Bowl crew

If leavy would´ve officiated the superbowl I wouldn´t even be watching. Far the worst ref ever to officiate a game.

Guess who's crew is going to ref the Super Bowl????

John Parry and his band of idiots that worked the Niner/Saints game, will work the Super Bowl.
    How does this happen?

Remember “fourth-and-2,” the infamous play that essentially cost the Patriots a game against the Colts in 2009?

If there’s a similar situation in the Super Bowl at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, the Patriots might want to think twice. Not only is the game being played in the same city, the official who ruled that Kevin Faulk did not gain possession of the ball past the first-down marker — a ruling questioned by Bill Belichick but one that appeared to be correct — is working the Super Bowl.

Tom Stabile, in his 17th season making calls in the NFL, is part of the crew that will be headed by 12th-year official John Parry. Stabile was the head linesman on Nov. 15, 2009, and he ruled that Faulk did not demonstrate control until after he was pushed behind the first-down marker. The Colts took possession at the New England 29 with just over two minutes left and scored the game-winning touchdown three plays later for a 35-34 victory.

Parry, who by day works as a financial adviser in his home state of Ohio, was named crew chief after leading the group that oversaw the Saints-49ers NFC divisional playoff game, a classic that ended with both teams scoring in the final two minutes.

Along with Stabile, who will server as the head linesman, Parry’s assistants include umpire Carl Paganelli (13 years of experience), line judge Gary Arthur (15 years), field judge Gary Cavaletto (9), side judge Laird Hayes (17) and back judge Tony Steratore (12).

Has anyone gathered numbers on the overs/unders that cashed in games this year involving this crew? Numbers of holding and pass interference calls would help also.

This is not a "crew" that worked any games this season. NFL playoffs use all-star crews comprised of the best individuals. Not sure if I believe they're really better, but it's hard to get an angle on their tendencies when this isn't a regular crew.
