if you want to be unbiased, he only had a slot receiver as his #1 wr and thats a banged up percy harvin and that defense is not the same.

They lost alot more than just favre

Alot of these teams need o and d line and corners not a qb

cowboys might block bears... same record but cowboys have priority in waivers because they have played a terrible schedule this year

That contract was pretty big, I bet he clears waivers. Nobody wants to touch that contract.

Cannot think of another Eagles player in the past twenty years who was as big a focus of week to week criticism and praise as McNabb was during his tenure there. Fans would go from love to hate back to love in the flip of a scramble and bomb for a TD. I think the biggest problem for McNabb was that he wanted so badly to be viewed as a pocket QB and not a "black running QB" that he went away from his strength (Scrambling) as his career went on. Cannot even count the number of times I recall in games where he passed up getting maybe a 10-20 yard rush to try to make a play by passing. Sometimes it worked, but more often than not it failed. Honestly I think when you look back at his career in Philly, it was quite remarkable at the success he had considering the system he had to learn and produce in without top notch players in most years. Sadly he'll be more remembered for puking on the field than helping turn a shit franchise into a relevant contender for the better part of a decade. But that's what you get when you don't win the big games.
