Question On N.Y. Giants VS New England -9.5 Spread

Will someone please explain to me how the odds makers came up with this line? I am quite baffled by this line? Out of 12 years of wagering on sports... I truly don't understand this line. I didn't touch this game... I would of taken New England -9.5 cuz in my estimation the spread was way too high. I just don't know how N.Y. Giants get so lucky when it comes to + points all the time? They are a very good team... especially +9.5

    Giants injuries.
    Pats and Brady at home.
I think they were hoping everyone would focus on Bradshaw and Nicks being out and forget how shitty the NE secondary is.

    Easier said after the game.

Most teams are +7 or higher when they play @ NE.

Bradshaw injured. Nicks injured. Jacobs completely ineffective this year. G-Men just struggled at home last week against Miami, who until this week couldn't tell their azz from their elbow. New England is solid at home, winning by an average of 9 this season. Vegas was keying in on the injuries, though, I'm sure. New England was definitely going to be favored by more than a TD for that reason alone.
