    bodog intimidation

hi everybody, 6 months ago i stoped betting on Bodog because they started circleing the lines so you couldn't parlay almost anything playing football, and today i received this:

This email serves as your final notice to confirm your Bodog account currently has an outstanding balance in the amount of ($59), and has now been referred to the Internal Accounts Department for the purpose of credit reporting to both Equifax and TransUnion. Your balance will need to be immediately resolved to avoid having your file referred to a 3rd party collections agency. Your methods of repurchasing the balance are listed below:

    - Credit Card
    - *************
    - Rapid Transfer

Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to the outstanding balance on your account.

    Sincerely,

    Magnus

From what I understand sportsbooks do not have your Social Security number (if you are a citizen of the United States) therefore I do not believe they can report on your credit but I may be mistaken. I do not understand how you can have a negative balance since you cannot risk whats not in your account. I would check with them why you owe them money, and if it is a legitimate reason and you intend to keep playing with any major book I would advise paying since most of them do communicate with each other.

I got the same exact message from Bodog like 7 years ago after I abandoned my account with a $0 balance, when I didn't want to play there anymore. I don't know how they came up with I somehow owe them money. I never once even withdrew from there. Anyway, I just ignored it and nothing ever came of it.

I had that happen to me at full tilt.....I never made a deposit all i ever played was freerolls and i stopped playing there a while back and they started sening me emails that said my account is negative 500 dollars so I was like how is that possible if i never made a deposit. So I wanted to see it for myself and now when I log into the software it shows a negative balance of $499.95 I think there are flaws sometimes in the software and thats why yhis happens and this is 1 reason why I will never deposit there because i'm afraid to because they may not credit me with the money i deposit. so i advise everybody check your account balances every day
