We saw Ohio State -- obviously the best team in the land -- lose a 15-point lead in the blink of an eye and fall on Saturday. Now Kansas is down big early at K-State -- a team they annihilated earlier in the season.
As good as these teams are, remember they're still college kids and every team is vulnerable on a given night. It really doesn't matter what happened the night before or the game before or the last time the two teams played. Treat each game as an isolated incident and realize there are no free passes, especially in college. A lot of parity and vulnerability, even among the elite (especially when on the road).
Just be careful the next time you think there's such thing as a "sure thing."
