Make a serious notes of your NCAA Basket plays. or next year, you may be very sorry

Because, like most players, when playing these last 40 or 50 games, you will lose several bucks and get frustrated. So, take some notes of why you lost and what stage of these games, too. Say, 1st., 2nd., 3rd, and so on.
If you get lucky and win some bucks, you definitely need to write down the specifics of these winning plays. Every detail.

Then, one year from now, study these notes like hell and either avoid those losing pitfalls, or, study and see exactly how and why you won some bucks, too.
This is serious business and there is no room or excuse for losing your arse way too soon?
Build some momentum and confidence, then, fire "some" of those winnings on a well studied, team or total.

And do not fire away all your winnings unless you are prepared to take the loss?
Books will probably be guaranteed to make a fortune on these final college basketball games. Are you going to donate your share to them, too?

Honest Question, do people need to be told this? Are there people on here who are wagering that do not do this? We may need a poll on this.

Regardless, I know I log all my games. If you're not currently logging your games, you need to be

Pro tip: Take your notes and throw them in the garbage when the tournament is over. Every year is different. The player change. The circumstances change. If betting on trends was profitable someone could write a computer program/sell it and bankrupt all the sportsbooks. Just enjoy it - don't bet too much or more than you can afford to lose - take advantage of the promos!

Another pitfall--and I am guilty 60% of the time--is playing the odds on futures too soon.
And the same for days ahead college baskets.
Guilty, and seems even I haven't learned yet?

You must keep your emotions and your enthusiasm in check when major games are days or even weeks ahead.
It goes for all sports I would imagine, but especially the 2 American Bigs: Basketball and Football. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...MygJegUIARDRAg

I have hundreds of notes from watching the games. One day I will publish a book on sports betting and put it on sale at the SBR Store for 325 points.

i log all my games so i know where my $$$ on the games was misapplied and i learn that way, such as maybe a game I deem a "B" should be more of my bankroll, etc.

    My worst pregame wagers

Iowa & Baylor. For all the marbles.
If a Book would hold my plays on both, and get the latest odds, he could very well clear $2,000 to $4,000, by simply holding these 2 at their long ago odds and then simply go buy the very best odds now offered for both.

Never again will get I caught like this.

This thread just simply went from understandable to confusing based on this post.

    Buying what odds?

Is it just me that isn't understanding?

This is an interesting theory, but is there any data to support the idea that this actually helps profits?

Well, here we have two coon dogs, one a young 2 year old upstart named Flash, the word is, this dog is ready to hunt coon at the snap of a finger.
His competition is an old dog of 11 years, Ol' Joe, who has a nose for smelling out a coon at distance of 2, maybe even 3 miles away, those hunters claim. He a mite slow with some back problems, as a fight with a coon left him with about 6 months go, but, while he limps now more than ever, Ol' Joe, will not quit on his masters who just love dearly to send dogs out after those coons.

Anyone with coon hunting experience will tell you, dogs love coon hunting 10 times more than those 2 legged hunters. That is true, for sure.
The 2 year old is faster, quick as cat and can run down any coon he may find. And they say, this young dog can spot a coon in a tree, if he even gets as close as 30 yards?

Who you putting your faith in to find that coon, first, Ol' Joe, or Flash?

I just went 4 for 4 on the Davidson, a 1 point loser, and the Michigan State game, an 0 for 3. I did not play heavy, but still?
Not in any mood for Gonzaga yet.

Pab, I don't why you cannot break these Books. The answer is yes. Ol' Joe was actually a deeper red. I suppose because his skin was getting so thin because of age, you could see his red bones?
Is there anything worse than losing your old faithful companion of many years?

Confidence is built by betting favorites, not getting gun shy then betting dogs soon as you lose one favorite bet..

    Dogs are spot plays...preferably ML's..
