No one watched this one? Coach K looks like he lost it. Hardly any energy out of him anymore. Used to see him working officals for at least a few points each game but he just sat there and watched his team get out hustled by lowly St Johns. You can tell they wanted this game.
That just it, this game was St. John's Super Bowl while Duke saw it as an annoying non-conference game in the middle of a tough ACC schedule. You rarely use Duke and undervalued in same sentence but let's see what line is in next Duke game.
Coach K overrated as usual, the guy is suppose to be the greatest coach of all time but can't coach a lick of defense. When was the last time he had a great defensive team?
On a side note, this win might have saved Mullin his job. Doubt it will have much effect on whether he stays or goes, but he has really underwhelmed at St John's. This is what, his third or fourth season as the coach and he's basically done worst than Lavin. Funny how Johnnies actually thought he would be a great coach when he's never done it before.
