Anyone watching Sox/Yanks????? Bases loaded with 1 out and Papi at the plate..... worst called strike I have ever seen followed by the most blantant revenge call I have ever seen to strike him out and then toss him and Farrell. MLB really needs to do something to hold umpires accountable for their actions on the to the same way players are. I get they are human and make mistakes but when you start dictating the outcome of a game to settle a personal score that should be suspension/fine worthy at the very least. /End rant

I wouldn't mind that call as much if it wasn't for the called third strike which was clearly low and blantantly called to make a point. You can even see by the way he rung Ortiz up that before the pitch was even thrown that he had made up his mind that anything anywhere near the strike zone was going to get called, Ortiz was going to be tossed and umpy was going to enjoy his moment of power. He 100% baited Ortiz with that third strike and dictated the result of the game. It's completely unprofessional and sadly becoming more and more common that guys like Joe West and Angel Hernandez decide to go on a power trip and make themselves the story of the game they are working.
