    39 of the 41 are "don't matter" - Rose and Sugar only ones that matter in current system. With 8 team playoff, 2 or even 3 Big 10 teams would have gotten in.     Obviously can't control who you play in the bowls - Miami & USC "crap" teams? They were in or on the edge of the playoff most of the season. Just ask the Pac 12 how the bowl season went. Not too good...
