Oregon (+3) will beat Arizona on Saturday

Huge game for the Ducks. They will hit all the big shots and leave no doubt as to their tourney status. Arizona will run out of steam late and Oregon will pull off the upset in Eugene.

Further breakdown will be provided tomorrow.

I'm not posting a play with units in here. That will simply be put on my spreadsheet.

If you want to comment on the game, go for it. You wanna use your time to trash me, go for that too. I don't really care either way. I made this thread to discuss one of the better games on tomorrow's card. I happen to like Oregon a lot here.

Well if you knew anything you'd realize I provided two reasons.

    1. Arizona will run out of steam late - since you are stupid and don't actually know anything about the game, you probably don't realize that Arizona lacks depth. They basically play a 6 man rotation.

    2. Oregon will make the big shots - Oregon is a very perimeter-oriented team. They have 3 very solid guards. It's much easier to shoot in the comfort of your own home environment.

Now that I had to spell it out for you since you were too stupid to understand from the first post, you can go back to your hole bitchboy.

It was also the second time they played the Bulldogs without its second-leading scorer Jay Canty, who did not make the trip to Asheville for violation of team rules

Arizona is 4-0 ATS in its last four games against teams with .600-plus winning percentages. … Oregon is 2-7-1 ATS in its last 10 home games. … The UNDER is 10-3 in Oregon’s last 13 games. … The OVER is 4-0-2 in Arizona’s last six games. … The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. … The UNDER is 6-1 in the last seven meetings.

Arizona will be tough to beat in the postseason, but the Wildcats don’t have much incentive in Eugene on Saturday. Oregon still has some prettying up to do ahead of Selection Sunday and has way more to play for here. The Ducks lost by only two in Tucson, which has most believe they can win at home.

Here's my take on your points.

    1) Arizona lost an NBA 1st round guarantee player, and therefore lost depth. Zona was running 7 players max prior to the Injury to Arizona's starting PF. Now they're running at a minimum of 8 players. Sean tried to run with 6 players, and that shit didn't work - as a result he has gone deeper into the bench that he even did when Ashley was around, and those players are stepping up, one of which is Arizona's lone senior.

They have a long track record of actually causing the other team to fade down the stretch. For two reasons, 1) their defense and 2) their conditioning. Not too many teams in the nation come close to the type of conditioning Arizona players have. Oregon sure as shit isn't one of them.

    2) To your second point, Oregon will take a lot of big shots but they wont necessarily make them. They're going up against the best defense in the country, and the last game wasn't a great indicator of the closeness currently.

The only angle here is that Oregon is on an uptick recently, and this is for their respective season. The PAC-12 knows this, and has had no problem having an officiating bias to help get a team into the NCAA's. At the same time, Arizona couldn't care less about this game. It has zero impact, and outside of only the players saying they don't want to rest - they have absolutely no reason to play the starters all game.

Basically, a loss here means absolutely nothing to Arizona and a Win means everything to Oregon, in a conference with some shady officiating that will happily guarantee Oregon's spot in the dance.

Why not just take Oregon ML and not deal with -110, if that is the angle - and IMO it's a good one.

Only way Oregon doesn't hit is if Arizona decides to play this game.

Oregon doesn't suck. Arizona is just that much better. Arizona is throwing some crazy fukkin lineups out there too. Lineups that haven't been seen all year.

Arizona is trying to win this game and develop the bench more, at the same time.

Oregon is still very much in this though. However, I think Oregon wears out down the stretch, because these guys are really hustling on defense - something they're not used to.

I think Arizona is a bit overrated, but I'll give them one thing, they play elite lock down defense.

Sean Miller easily a top 3 coach.

    These refs, eh?

Calls a turnover to end the half on Arizona, saying he stepped out of bounds right in front of the ref, and replay shows it wasn't close.

This shit is looking better and better for Oregon, we're almost getting confirmation on the ref angle and it makes complete sense.

I'd personally do the same thing in Larry Scott's position.

Typical shady Pac-12. This league is as crooked as it gets.
