Despite a somewhat disappointing season so far, the Washington Huskies are the play tonight at home versus the California Golden Bears.
Washington is not exactly having a banner season, as the youthful Huskies have had too many lapses in concentration that has resulted in some really ugly performances. But they're still in better shape right now that struggling California.
The Golden Bears have to hit the road following a disastrous homestand that concluded with them getting hammered by Stanford. Cal has actually been a dangerous entry as road dogs this season, but I have to wonder about their mental state right now. And Washington fits a pretty decent home revenge angle, so I'll go with the Huskies for my Thursday pick.
