OSU beat Loyola MD, Zaga, Thugnatti, and Cuse w/o Melo. Kansas beat Detroit, Purdue (1 man team almost beat them), NC State (Scrappy, but not the talent), and UNC w/o their MVP/Best player. Kentucky beat a 16 seed, Iowa State - Conn would have given KY all they could handle but were beaten by Iowa State. Then an Indiana team who was totally out-athleted. Finally, Baylor - great athletes with a terrible coach.
Louisville had to play Davidson, no walk in the park. Then New Mexico - a very tough MWC team that would have done damage if not for matching-up with the Cardinals. Then, the BIG TEN champion, Michigan State (who pounded OSU earlier). MSU is coached by Izzo, tougher game than OSU, KY, or Kansas had to play. Finally, they matched-up with a FLA team who in the first half shot absolutely lights out. Every other team would have crumbled, but Pitino is the best coach in the tournament left and kept his guys in it.
So, Louisville had hardest road, then KY, then OSU, then Kansas.
