After an embarrassing loss in Manhatten, but their only loss of the season. Lines at -3nhalf at Iowa State who has some notched some worthy victories but I think Mizzou is the play here.
I am on Mizzou tonight, despite having a gut feeling it's not the sharp play. They return their entire rotation from a team that handled ISU twice, although it was close in Iowa, last year. I think one of the issues Mizzou had last year was their lack of resilience after having a great start like they have this year. They got into Big 12 play with only 1 loss (in OT to Gtown), lost their conference opener, ended up finishing 8-8, lost the first game of the conference tourney, and then got embarrassed in the NCAAs.
Last year's team had two road wins all year: Oregon and Iowa St. I'm banking on their experience coming into play and they will realize the importance of getting back on track with a solid road win to give them confidence and get back to the level they were at playing undefeated ball. The caveat to all this is the possibility that these players just can not and will not get the job done on the road ever, even as seasoned vets. Should be interesting.
Royce white will be a tough matchup for anyone on mizzou. Although noching losse early against UNI, drake, and Michigan all the transfers are starting to come together. Michigan is playing great ball right now and UNI is holding there own almost beating creighton last night. Drake is really there only 'bad' loss which was very early in the year. Sold out crowd for the cyclones at Hilton tonight and I think ISU covers. Will probably go down to last play/free throws which Iowa state struggles with. GL to all!
