JJ, it is a very involved process, one I'm sure would cause what little hair you have left to be long gone after only a couple of nights.

I can share that there is a coin involved, a little Tebow'ing, one or two chickens may be sacrificed in the process and if it's a road team I like then you can be sure a call to Miss Cleo will be made. If I have lost 2 games in a row and I REALLY NEED a winner I have a friend who I pay to sleep in a tee pee and smoke coyote urine soaked wacky backy till a vision comes to him.

    How'd UConn -2 pan out?

Conference Dogs at home will hit 55-60% this time of yesr. I like to get +5 to +7 pts.

Statistical handicapping works well in college hoops. I wrote a simple program several years back that exposes weak lines. I have to wait until around Christmas until the stats have been developed enough to be accurate and I am done after the last game before conference tournaments. Stats become skewed or have less depth when neutral sites are involved. During the big dance I just put together a couple of office pools, get drunk and throw shit at my TV.

My stats come from KenPom and TeamRankings.com

You have to run them all to find that needle in the haystack. I do not make a ton of plays but my ROI is good.

I have started using the SBR spreadsheet this year. If you are looking for a play or two, have a look. I usually play them within a few hours of open and the lines on my selections do tend to move quite a bit; so play them early.

Case in point today's game. I played Tulsa +1 and it is now -2 or -2.5 depending on where you buy your groceries.

    Good luck fella.

JJ I will give you an introduction

    Go to donbest.com

look at the teams home records/away records, ppg, shooting percentages, and defensive stats

look at power rankings of teams they have played against

look at trends, recent games, and historical meetings, ats the otherwise

factor all these into the equation

Keep an eye out for teams who are getting a bunch of points and their shooting percentages from the field, line and 3's are nearly equal or in some cases even better than their opponent

screen watch, bet late, right before tip off to avoid being head faked earlier in the day with bogus moves. Closer is the most efficient and telling number.

Kilo of Coke, Can of Pledge, and a Fortune Cookie. If you have to ask how it works, you obviously can't afford the stakes I'm playing at.

    uhhhhhh, NOT EVEN CLOSE

a line is HIGHLY dependent on many many factors...

You cant just make a blanket comment and say the final number of a line is the most effecient and telling..

How can you even say something like that with a straight face ? ? ? ? ?
