well, the public is on the over big, so the movement could be from sharp money, but its most likely just public money

college basketball lines are very soft and even a little public money causes massive line moves like that


in any case, the only bet now is the under, cause with a 5.5 shift in the line, the value on the over is long gone

these early line moves on openers of totals is normally large when sharps and or public think a total is way off particularly early in the season thats why last year books werent offering totals on cbb games early in the year if they werent on tv since there isnt any nba books are opening them up again pinnacle normally opens them at 100 or 250 limits and then as the day goes along and the line gets sharper they open up the limits

IMO, I think it's steam, sharp, syndicate, or whatever you want to call it, money that usually will come in late, 30-45 minutes before game time. From what I've been told and have seen from my locals paid information which is SportsOptions, their steam money comes in from a Jewish Syndicate and they will hit a game 50-100 dimes at a pop. Their paid service has a voice over pop-up that comes up and says
""Steam Play"" by the time you get it, the line has usually already moved. Believe me, I've tried to chase it, but never get it.

I don't know man. Unless they are straight up falsifying their information (which I kinda doubt because they clearly state many years and in many categories they are minus units, yes they do change certain games from 3 stars to 2 stars and such with line moves, so I guess you could say that is kinda shady, but I don't think they change the stars after the game starts).
But it looks like they have been quite successful with college totals early in the season the past few years.

And you sometimes just never know. Like yesterday, Blowdog never moved the side on the Steelers -3, while everybody else was going to 4 and 4', but they were making you pay for that 3. It got as high as -155 about 15 minutes before kick, and settle back down to -145 right at kickoff.

And another real funny thing about all this, not even half of any these wagers are even available in Vegas. They have very few totals and damn sure don't take qtrs, halfs, and all these other lollipop bets that the offshores offer.

A side note about RAS moving the line, moved it up 3.5 in this game and in the N. Illinois games moved it down a whole 5 points.
