if Garnett plays Celtics cover for sure

    What about Celtics tonight?
    is Garnett off?

i think with him on the court, the will only have to worry about the Magics' transition, so 4 points will easily be covered

    any thoughts?

If Garnett plays, the Magic cover and probably win SU.

If he doesn't, Celtics win and cover.

Garnett will inspire them but not sure if he will be at 100% and sometimes the first game back a star does more harm than good.
Afraid of touching this game without knowing Shaq's status.
Shaq did a great job on Howard the last game and if he is out I would not play this game.

Boston frontline will dominate, plus Rajon Rondo pace and assists.
thinking only of the matchups and last game, i have to pick Boston.

just trying to find reasons to fade them...

The Under is the play here. Big Baby (in start of KG) has been in love with the mid-range jump and isn't hitting that shot at a good clip. With Garnett back in the lineup, the Celtics will work the ball inside-out through Garnett and Shaq.

The Magic burned the Celtics in the first quarter in their last game with the 3-ball. Expect Doc Rivers to have his players close out hard on the 3-point shot tonight which is really Orlando's only bread-n-butter besides dunks from Dwight.

Interesting Stat: 8 out of the last 10 games of this matchup that played in Boston went under.

    Good luck kiddos.

think that Boston will avoid Howards offensive power. they struggle at open court, but i trust Rondo's potential.

Everything in my mind tells me the Magic pull this one off..... It's about that time for the Celtics to start coasting and finish as a 3-4 seed

I'd say if KG plays he will disrupt the chemistry a little bit and they may win this one close...if at all. I still like the under here better though as he's known more his defense than offensive prowess these days and Boston's synergy with him on the court is slower than without. I would imagine he can get back to being a factor defensively quicker than offensively.

Ya i think the Magic make a statement tonight after how poorly theyve played the last few nights. Look for Turkoglu to have a big game

KG went through full practice yesterday and will likely suit up. If I had to pick a team, I'd lean the Celtics. One main difference from tonight's game and the last game is Rondo. If you guys don't remember, Rondo was sitting out the X-Mas game because of a sprained ankle. Nate Robinson started in his place and went 2/15 (1/7 from 3). Pretty sure C's will be more efficient with Rondo being playmaker.

almost half of Orlando's points have come from the line.

So many horrible calls (ie Shaq's block on Howard that was called, KG's phantom hold of Dwight when going for the steal, etc etc)

So this ended up being a BOS push and over...how original. If the Celtics could stop that no name and get a dame defensive rebound it probably could've had a chance to go under. I would still do it again because I think it was the right play. It was just one of those games where the refs called a ton of fouls and a lot of points were scored with the clock stopped.

49 free throws total for the game. Refs were terrible, 1st half especially.

Boston and Under were the right calls.....

true but you cannot blame only the refs.
there was a poor defensive reaction, refering to 13 OFF REBS of Magic.

plus the real big distance shots, plus RYAN ANDERSON(he was there to keep Orlando in game, when the Celtics achieved to take double digits early)

i really think that the right pick was -3, now we have a push and how???

Howard was hitting 72% from the line, when the whole season is under 60%.
    what to say...
