The Magic get Penny Hardaway and Trevor Ariza.
I like this for the Magic. Useless for the Knicks unless they trade either Francis or Marbury away within the next 24 hours. Two one-on-one, selfish players in the backcourt is not a recipe for wins. Especially in a Larry Brown system which is supposed to be centered around team play and ball movement.
Hardaway is useful to the Magic only in that he represents a salary dump. At the end of the year, he will be cut due to his injuries and that's $15 million off the books for next year.
I get the sense the Magic have a nice plan here. Not fully visible yet, but I can see them making some nice improvements next year. The Knicks are still a joke.
