Yes. A total shit show. They should fire Doc and go back to the old guy.

LMAO. That’s funny. “We are at 70% wins, fire the coach and bring in the bald confused looking fukk. He will get us to 71% and an early playoff exit.”

Well he wasn't having success. 70% says nothing for a team featuring 4 stars including a perennial MVP candidate. No sense wasting a year if you think the coach is not up to it. Not all players on their roster have time to wait -Lillard is in his mid-30s. HONESTLY, people think these coaches get the axe on record alone.

Big fear in the deer is that their star forward will leave, and so they're doing everything he asks. He has become L.James; coach killer and roster killer. Once he's ruined them he will find another team to ruin. Doncic & Jokic will accrue all the championships over the next 20 years because they know their place on the team. They're not hell bent on power.

I got that he wasn't fired because of his record. Hence, I said, "Give the guy a break and see if he can repair the problem." GM and/or players couldn't talk about it w/ him? I just think they panic too quick and OBVIOUSLY didn't have a great plan in replacing him. But I really don't care if Bucks want to get f** by themselves so be it.

And to have some fun with the Bucks. Let see if they "improve" w/ record and ATS as I'll take a page from Jibby and fade this team.

    Hornets +14 v. Bucks

Giannis was at his best when he kept his head down and just worked hard. Great player and terrible GM

Right now, the Bucks are a mess.
Besides Middleton whose ankle problems seems to be really bad, Dame is a GTD, so is Crowder and the Greek.

They're so banged up that they had to trade for Pat Beverly for backup help.
    A mess I tell you.

Without Dame and Middleton, the Bucks won't go far.

Doncic??? How are you just going to throw him in the mix of winning championships????
He might get lucky and win one at the end of his career like Dirk Nowitzki but he ain't winning one this year nor next year, let alone multiple ones.

Think you're on your own there Headsterx. He's more skilled than James ever was, and is only 24yo. Just a matter of putting good talent around him. Irving is being a good boy this year. Hardaway and Lively good players also.

Mavs bolstered their depth with the trades... bit of duplication with Washington/ Kleber, Lively/ Gafford, but serviceable players. Washington might be the best shooting 4-man playing in the league these days -good fit!

I say "playing"..... Bertans is the best stretch 4 in the world. Maybe Mirotic 2nd. Maybe coach Clifford will give Bertans a shot in Charlotte -competitive roster back in OKC! Mirotic was well sought after when he left the league, but wanted to return to Europe. Probably weary of all the BLM crap that was prevalent at the time -and dealing with "people" like Portis!

Bucks just lost to a Grizzlies team with a starting lineup of:

    Jordan Goodwin
    Vince Williams
    Zaire Williams
    Santi Aldama
    Trey Jemison

Got blown out by the heat at home a couple of days ago. A heat team missing jimmy butler, terry rozier, and Josh Richardson. And it was not even close at any point in the game.

Shouldn't have fired Bud. Easy to point the finger at the coach, but you don't fire one of the best and replace him with a rookie coach when you're contending! Hopefully he resurfaces and I can bet on his next team.

It's interesting how defense is winning in the regular season. Used to be offensive teams did well in teh season and poorly in the playoffs. Appears it has flipped.

If you want to blame anyone for the Bucks mess, look to their leader. He wanted Lillard. He got it. He wanted Griffin. He got it. Rivers (probably)? He got it. The first one was the real problem; Lillard is well past it.

    Yeah, it's wild ,
right? Firing the coach with a 30-13 record seems kinda nuts, especially if the team's been performing solid. Guess there's more to the story than meets the eye.

30-13 under Griffin, 10-8 under Rivers. Doc may not ever get another job if the Bucks don't make some playoff noise.

They just beat the Clippers without Giannis in a game they trailed the entire way and down 15 points in 2H

Maybe Doc does know what he's doing

Are you playing devil's advocate? Or are you gauging the value of a coach that has been around a quarter of a century on the strength of a 6 game win streak?

I reckon he's an upgrade over Griffin. As a rookie coach you should show respect to anyone that is there to help you. That wasn't the case apparently as Terry Stotts resigned early in the season. Big mistake and the beginning of the end for him.

Doc was great as a TV analyst. Bit full of himself (and full of excuses) but that works well on tv. If ESPN had him & Redick and kicked Doris to the curb their games would be listenable.

I was just happy they won for me. Griffin was a terrible hire from the beginning. Stotts would have been better than Griffin or Doc at any point

Giannis showing he's just as bad as LeBron at picking coaches

Rivers said recently he felt Griffin got a raw deal on account of his top assistant (whom Griffin reportedly admonished in front of the squad and the rest of the coaching staff) quitting before the start of the season. Isn't it ironic? He has a far worse record than him; 14-12 vs 32-14.
