Great call Nasher. Mitchell dropped 32, 8 and 6. Allen had 24 and 14. Cavs defense stepped it up in that 2nd half. They now have held the Bucks to 2 out of their 3 lowest games of the season.

They still will have to figure out what to do when Garland and Mobley come back. I think they both should come off the bench. The Cavs look better without them.

Booker scored 62 tonight and the Suns lost. Luka did score 70+ and the Mavs won, so there's that but like I said, most of the time when a guy goes off the rest of the team just stands around and they probably only win half the time. Give me ball movement and people movement any day.

Cavs need Mobley more than they need Garland, guards like him are easy to replace.
You need two bigs to compete these days, Allen and Mosely belong together.

But Mobley and Allen can't shoot 3s so they end up clogging the lane. You can't have both of them in the game at the same time. Spread the floor with shooters and use either Allen or Mobley. You don't need to replace Garland, use him as a shooter too. The Cavs really should move Mobley for a scoring 4. You put a guy like Mikal Bridges on the Cavs and they become a title contender IMO.

Cavs have won 10 of their last 11, including 2 wins over the Bucks and a nice win tonight over the Clippers. They are covering fools right now. Come get you some.

Cavs will never be a threat to win it all as long as D Mitch is the number 1 option. He's the third option on a championship team. Guy always thought he was D Wade but can never sniff anything close to that level. He is what he is now and will never improve from this version of himself.

Goatie - Mitchell is finally getting it. He knows he has to distribute the rock. He's putting up double digit assists per game and dishing dimes like Lebron. The entire team is getting buckets. Most nights they have 6 or 7 guys into double digits.

I'm reading where J Allen has been sick, he's a GTD.
They can beat Detroit without him though.

The Knicks are a tough matchup for the Cavs. I think the biggest issues were the bench last year and Allen playing like a complete pussy. Allen got reamed in the offseason and has put on a toughness that you've never seen before. He's actually outplayed Jokic, Embiid and Giannis in matchups against them this season. He won't get punked like last season. Mitchell is setting all time career highs in assists. Mitchell just made player of the month. The East is loaded. It won't be easy but the Cavs have a lot of great pieces in place. The head coach is an issue too though. lol

I think the Cavs was -12.5 vs the Grizzlies yesterday. That line plummeted to -6. Mobley is out but I think that helps the Cavs. Cavs are on a back to back, so not sure I'd play them tonight although I kinda like them -2.5 in the first quarter.

Assists up because Garland was out but hes finally back. Not sure Strus is that great of a player and bench is still kind of thin, idk. Knicks added Divienzo, OG, Precious with Josh Hart and Hartenstein off the bench but lost Quickley but a lot of players are playing better this year. We will see though, the seeding will play a bigger role for some teams than others.

Knicks are better than the Cavs

They will trade Fournier for a 6th man/bench help before the deadline then watch out. They are a threat to win it all

The Knicks are a bad matchup for the Cavs but I think the Cavs can match Boston, Miami and Philly better. Basketball is a game of matchups. I thought the Cavs, Bickerstaff helped the Knicks by playing Mobley and Allen together. The Knicks didn't even guard them and packed the paint. Then he also had Okoro out there who made it even easier because they Knicks would not guard 3 players. This year, the Cavs have more shooters. You have to stick to Merrill, Strus and Niang. That's a huge difference. Plus now Okoro is no longer afraid to shoot and Wade can as well. The biggest issue is Garland and Mitchell. 2 guys that like to dribble the air out of the ball. Then Mobley and Allen. 2 guys that won't stretch the floor. If I was coach I'd have Mitchell and Allen in the first unit and have Garland and Mobley come off the bench.

I expected that. Lakers scrub players played above their heads while the Celtics thought they had an easy night when Lebron and AD said they were sitting. Then once they got into a dog fight, they couldn't ramp up the intensity. Smart move by Lebron. haha

These Celtics have that always the bridesmaid vibe... wondering about what might have been had Udoka not been a s ex pest pervert. Well i'll tell you they'd be 2nd best anyway! Tatum compares himself to Bryant. He is not that, and KP is certainly not Pau.

They've won 14 of the last 15 games.

Donovan Mitchell is +3000 right now for MVP. I recommend throwing something on that. Embiid is out of consideration because he can't play enough games. A few other guys may be out of the running as well. Jokic, Tatum might be favorites now BUT if the Cavs find some way to get the number 1 seed, how could you not vote for Spida? Right now, he's the most exciting player on a basketball court. If you haven't seen him, you are missing some incredible basketball.

I think the Cavs should stay pat. The Lakers and Knicks are both going after DeJounte Murray. If the Knicks get him (which from what I'm hearing is next to nothing in return), I think they become an immediate title contender.

The only thing holding the Cavs back is their youth. A lot of guys who have not been there, done that. Plus a coach who's never been there. Which is why I rather just play them in the regular season. The last 2 seasons they turned into dog shit right after the All Star Game. Mainly because guys got injured.

Current MVP odds. I don't even see Mitchell??? I think whatever team ends up with the best record in the regular season, that star player will win it. Right now Jokic is favored but OKC, or NY, or the Clippers or the Cavs end up with the best record, I think it changes everything. I like Kawhi's odds +6,000. The Clippers are rolling right now, even though the Cavs beat them down. :-)

Goater if they are in the top 4-5 seeds, then saying they will only win 1-2 playoff games is nonsense.

    Macker is anointing them.
