    Horford and Smart Playing tonight. White is out

    Al Horford has been cleared to play in Game 2 vs. Miami on Thursday.


    Horford was upgraded to questionable earlier in the afternoon and has now officially exited the protocols. This is a huge lift for Boston and it sounds like Marcus Smart will be available too. However, Derrick White will not be available as he's traveling back to Boston for the birth of his first child. Look for Grant Williams to see a reduced role this evening with Horford back.

    He first went into protocols on Tuesday and exited on Thursday. Since they announced Tuesday, I assume he tested positive ON Tuesday. How do you test positive and then get cleared to play two days later?
