    James Harden take a bow

    2 of 13 on 3's
Rockets are a joke; should've won by double digits

I watched that game I am a Brooklyn fan but I am rooting for Utah hard. is easy to like.
hey can shoot and actually play team defense.

Did you see the way Utah cut off Harden on his drive to the hoop and forced Harden to pass the hall right before Tucker hit the three?
That was a thing of team defense beauty.

Oh, I had this ticket not for nothing,
    Jazz money line.

I think we've all exaggerated over the years calling certain players ball hogs, but finally a player has come along in Harden which it is truly the case.

It's crazy how the Rockets were quick to point out Russ's issues and yet can't address the elephant in the room.

Harden the OG loser of being the coach's son the way he plays. Now his protege Trey young is branching off

This why teams like the Lakers and the Rockets won't win the championship.
They both have two superstars and three mediocre or subpar players surrounding them.

Fun fact: Harden is #2 in the NBA in turnovers with 4.5 turnovers a game and Westbrook is #3 in the league, he averages 4.4 turnovers.
There's a reason why Houston is in fifth place, your two superstars will turnover the ball 9 times a game.
9 turnovers equals, I don't 14 or so free points to the opposition.

There's a reason why the Jazz are just two games back of the #2 seed with a record of 34-18.
They are pretty much a complete team.
They have an elite center in Gobert, he averages a double/double a game and 2 blocks a game to boot.
Gobert is probably the best defensive center in the league he's #2 in rebounds with a 14.4 average per game.

Donavan Mitchell is an all star guard who is really a SG but filled in nice for Conley when he was injured.
Mitchell averages 24.4 points per game.
Speaking of Conley he is a more than capable point guard.
Bogo is a SF that averages 21.1 a game.
Ingles is a nice off guard.
What the Jazz lack is a true power forward. They don't have one. Sorry but Royce O'Neal cut it. The Jazz start four very good starters that play strong team defence, their bench is great now with the acquisition of Clarkson.
That's why they're in the hunt of the two seed with 34 wins so far.
They play team defense and damn near the most complete team in the league.

I luv the jazz this yr, specifically when they were +5000 or more to win it all. As high as +7000 at the start of the season gives anyone incredible hedging opportunities should they advance deep into the playoffs

Bogdan is the most recent key, Zach lowe did a piece on him awhile back when he was on the nets. Describing him as a player that doesn't have any weaknesses and multiple strengths. His post game has been phenomenal but in addition to Donovan mentioned above they have so many guys that can do so many things at different positions well to go around gobert in the paint. Ingles was last yrs Utah breakout and he's still just as good today. They are going to be a tough out for anyone in the West

Have to disagree here Steve; Lakers win it all, bar a LeBron / AD injury. Clippers have ultimate cheat code in Lou Williams and overall will stay healthier because they can rest their superstars.

Rockets have a great team, however, they choose not to improve. Move Eric Gordon to the Lakers / Bucks you can essentially guarantee a ship -- same guy stands around waiting for Harden to get tired of dribbling... I blame D'Antoni for giving the beard too much power now can't control him

A 36% three-point shooter lifetime should just not be launching it constantly like Harden does. Especially when one of his biggest assets is drawing fouls, which he's very rarely accomplishing chucking threes

If Harden would actually play intelligently and not just chase stats, guy could be great. That'll never happen. He's all numbers, all selfish, no substance. He doesn't elevate the team around him whereas guys like Lebron do

It is mind boggling how you can be a teammate of his. They just stand around on offense watching him. Harden’s go-to is drawing fouls and when the refs stop calling every little flop he does, his numbers are way down. That is why he struggles in the post season, since playoff games aren’t reffed the same way.

Jazz are mediocre. Gobert is a one trick pony. Rockets just miss Gordon.

    Boston’s defense can contain him.

Yes, that game last night was the most physical I’ve seen all year.
Elbows to the face, body blows, shots to the head.....
Harden got a break on some calls and Houston benefited from home cooking.

I was watching that Rockets game last night.
Harden had no business playing 30 minutes of that game.
Houston was up 20 from the opening tip (or so it seemed)
Even still nice shooting there Beard.
6 for 16 from the field, 3 for 12 from three point land.
Hell, even I can score 29 if I went to the free throw line 15 times.

Right now yes, it's working. But easy to stop; just shut down Russ and whole thing falls apart.

Have to respect Westbrook for making adjustments to his game. Takes less than 4 3's... Rockets had no business going to OT.
