Books hesitant to fully back Portland. They’re playing great and OKC’s same old flaws have been exposed but I think books realize that if Portland goes cold, this series is right back on again.
Having said that, my initial instinct is that the Blazers get it done and close them out.
Thunder still have one trick up their sleeve; Schroder as a starter. He ought to be playing 40mpg imo while Ferguson backs up the wing spots and Felton - whom has found his game legs after not playing much during the season - becomes the backup pg. More play making and so fewer of those self-indulgent Westbrick midrange pull-ups. Westbrick doesn't like to play defense so they hide him on Harkless or Aminu.
This is their only chance imo ...it's a familiar/ common desperation move to start the 6th man in an elimination game.
I like the Clippers tonight to cover +14. Golden St can relax and Clippers know they can't outshoot Curry and the Bridge Boyz so Clips may bring some strong def at least and hope for the best or at least a close game.
Long shots doing well tonite. T Wiz predicted Utah would cover and now Clippers are ahead coming into halftime vs Golden State. Even though I predicted Clips would cover am somewhat amazed they are holding momentum so far. 71-63 Clips at half.(Final 129-121 LA Clipper win with offense from "Sweet Lou" ...Lou Williams.)
