John Wall +3500 to win MVP

John Wall is the 4th best PG in basketball after Curry, Paul and Westbrook. These superteams have the best players, but I don't think any of them should win MVP. Durant, Curry, Lebron, Harden, Paul, Westbrook. Too many mouths to feed. If I had to pick a favorite to win it would be:

    1. Leonard
    2. Harden
    3. Lebron
    4. John Wall

Being in the MVP conversation (usually means top 3-4 guys) means that +3500 is extreme value. John Wall is a transcendent basketball player and I expect the Wizards to be a top 3 seed in the Eastern Conference and for John Wall to average about 25 points and 11 assists this year. On top of that, he's a bull on the defensive end.

    $50 on Wall

Not a chance... I'd pick Kyre Irving before John Wall on a long shot prop like that..

I know the game. Like I told you, it's not a long shot. You'll see.

Lillard has a better chance than Wall, Wall just can't shoot consistently, not a great half court scorer.

even if he averages 25 and 11 like you say, why would he win the mvp? someone else no doubt will put up better numbers

Who's gonna put up better than 25 and 11? Likely no one.

Irving certainly could, he'll be the guy in Boston, everything will go through him.

Westbrook could and he'll have the better rebounding numbers

I just don't see how Wall all of a sudden bursts for 25+ a game when he averages 18 in his career. SEven years in the league and he hasn't proven himself as a legitimate scorer yet

Yeah KD good chance for sure. I honestly thing no one on GS should get any MVPs. Just out of principle. I think a lot of sports writers will feel this way about it as well.

Wall averaged 23 last year. Career averages are irrelevant. Wall came into the league at 19 years old. 23 last year, 25 this year isn't that hard....

Irving won't average DD dimes. 0 percent chance. Also is a bum on defense.

Westbrook probably will but he'll be playing on a stacked team.

Wall is a one man show.

Kevin Durant maybe gets it.. He came up big in the playoffs last season.. Closed out strong... He could beat out Curry as well for best player on the team this year..

Wall has been a true mvp for yrs, perhaps he'll finally get some recognition this yr

He is imo a more complete pg than curry and westbrook second only to Paul but cp time as reigning best pg is over

The biggest threat would be giannis to win mvp followed by durant, kawhi and dame lillard

I like the idea of fading all the guys on super teams. It's like when you get multiple oscar nominations from the same movies, they split votes and come up short. KD and Curry will split votes, same with Westbrook and George. I think Wall is a solid bet, so is Kyrie. Kawhi is the most likely as there isn't a ton in SA to take away from his stats. As long as Kawhi stays healthy, he should be first or second team all defense, top 10 in scoring, top 10 in steals, and solid in all the other categories.

Anthony Davis is the other good choice, but until the Pelicans get better, he isn't winning it.

Projecting Wiz to get the 2 seed, but as long as they're top 4, Wall will be in the MVP conversation. Book it bro.

Durant wins regular season MVP. Westbrook wins Finals MVP. That's the script.

At at least I dream it is....

Curry tears ACL. Gaymond Green gets suspended. Durant carries Warriors to WCF. but can't get it done bc he isn't alpha.

Everyone that bet Warriors futures thinking it was free money loses their ass.

Curry not garbage. He's unstoppable. Best PG in the game right now. But Jibby must not watch NBA if he ever thought Curry was better than Durant, even during Curry's b2b MVP streak. Durant's been the 2nd best player in the world for the last 5 years. Wouldn't argue if you said he was the best right now.

Makes no sense. No PG in the NBA can guard the guy 1 on 1. Doesn't even matter about the team. Give Curry the ball and let the Warriors other 4 players walk off the court, and put any PG in the league in front of him. They won't stop him. Doesn't need bullshit screens or anything like a Klay Thompson to score.

You guys just don't get it... this guy is a CEREBRAL ASSASSIN. Sees the game like you wouldn't believe.

Goat, brother, please shut these trolls up this year... put them in their place... post your best pick every day brother. We need someone with real knowledge of the game to follow... I am done with these amateurs and clowns.
