Basketball was the anti jock sport in my part of the world at school it was heaps of fun. Shoot some hoops get blazed ha!

Was a pretty decent FT shooter (used glass weirdly) but the only way you got to the line is if the defender assaulted you so was irrelevant.

Point guard/wannabe shooting guard and terrible stat padder, always poaching rebounds. And in hindsight I played no d inside the 3 point line sorry about that team mates.

    How much now and then?

Did you play any organized basketball?

    Can you dunk?

What type of player are you? Shooter? Post?

If you shot 10 free throws, how many would you make?

I played a lot through high school. Not much anymore, was decent enough to play select ball but not HS.
Couple times a week usually. Played in a couple leagues, just recreational but top ballers in the metro detroit area. Tore 2 ligaments in my ankle 8 months ago. Back on the court now. Might have to grab a surgery quick to shave down a bone spur that grew in there. Playing but some pain still from that spur and still a bit weak right now.

Could dunk before it happened, might take me another year to dunk again. I'm 5'11, 175, play style: probably a mix of Wade and Ginobli. Can do some cool stuff in the air, have good hangtime. I shoot my midrange jumper similar to westbrook's style. Quick cross over or speed in transition and stop on a dime and rise high. I'm a solid 3 point shooter but not an off the screen guy or considered a knock down 3 specialist. I usually defend the best perimeter player, and grab a lot of rebounds because I jump high, and I usually run 2 guard but avg the most assists on the team because my style is just to be a playmaker.

I like to go in the post like wade sometimes and shoot that paint floater. I need to use the floater more when I play like 6'7 guys down in the paint, but when guys just like 6'3 at center I just attack Wade style.

10 free throws? It depends on how much energy I've consumed during the game. If I'm fatigued I would make 7-8. If you're saying just shoot free throws not in a game just chillen then prolly 9 or 10 of 10 if I get some warmups first.

Dunking doesn't matter unless you're doing it consistently in games. The question should be more, do you jump high. Usually people who can jump high, run fast (sprinting), are agile, coordinated, craft and smart, are good at most all athletic sports.

Basketball is a game of shooting, layups, and defense(boxing out and weak side help).

Yeah and when you can double clutch in the air and still get off layups around 6'8 guys packin in the paint, that's due to athleticism and skill. Shooting very important as well like you said and defense. Longer more agile guys with some lower body strength are usually better defenders. Defense is about shuffling feet. Most unathletic guys can't play d, even if they can shoot. Real basketball games are fast paced. Not slow pace high school bring it up the court every possession. Guys run out. Being out for 8 months, and smokin weed during that time. I was breathing hard after 1 intense game. Had to cut it back to 3 on 3 for a few weeks.

I used to play a lot of pickup indoors and outdoors in the summer.

I once hit five half-court shots in a row at the Y. Not in a game. Just in shoot-around.

maybe 70% on the line when I played in local basketball league.

defense is my game 2-3 and 3-2 zone are always used on pick up games. and Man up D in some situations.
