CONGRATS to Russel Westbrook on the MVP!!!

Averages a triple-double for the year and he broke the Big O's record of 41 triple-doubles in a year that stood for 55 years

He scored 50 tonight including another game-winner

And he's doing this as his teams only real option, he's getting triple AND double teamed. This OKC team is TERRIBLE, yet he willed them to a 6 seed in the West

This is one of the greatest seasons ever turned in by an individual in any sport.

Westbrook is now a sure fire first ballot Hall of Famer

i couldn't agree more. there is some special about checking a person's stats every game on the box score, to see if they made history.

    he better win mvp

easy winner although many nba stats were inflated this year

Look around league many video game numbers because no defense

Much easier to score now vs years ago

BUT, back then players had the vote. Think Oscar came in 3rd behind Russ and Wilt.
If the players still had the vote, I think RW wouldn`t have a chance.
Now, he has to be the Fav. Guarantee some a-hole is simply going to leave him completely off his ballet.

Anything but decided. Last 34 mvp's were on teams that finished top 3 in their conference in terms of record. Harden fits that. He's also averaging 29.3, 8.1, 11.3. Russell avg'ing 31.9, 10.7, 10.4

Nearly identical. The difference is the team record (rockets 8 more wins) and that perception is harden more likable personality than russell.

Harden will get tons of votes.

Kawhi is a great player on both ends of the court, probably more well rounded than Westbrook is but hes surrounded by good players and coach on a team that has a history of contending every year. If you put kawhi on okc i think they dont even sniff the playoffs

What are the odds for a co mvp? Can't imagine westbrook not receiving it. Only way harden gets it is if it's co mvps.

Under traditional framework harden is the mvp but what happened with russ is once in a century and far from traditional.

I understand that the award is a publicity campaign and has nothing to do with best player but likability? Does that rly play a factor? Kobe was the biggest d*ck in history and that didn't prevent him from taking home the hardware.

Age old question is it moat valuable or most oirstanding? 34 straight winners came from top 3 teams in their conf. Also, if kawhi is on any other team, the shackles of pops system come off and he scores and assists more. Trust me.

And I guarantee OKC w kawhi beats the eighth seeded Blazers 40-40 record and makes the playoffs

    Ya, I agree.

OKC best when Westbrook is dishing 14 assists, scoring about 20 on 15-20 shots. Gets everyone involved and minimizes Russ's mistakes.

Unfortunately, I think we'll see him go 1 on 5 and Houston advancing. Overall, Houston has the better team and better coach so they should move on.

Jimmy Butler is the MVP you fool get a grip on reality. Westbrook is a bum and benefits from a desperate system feeding him after durant crippled the franshise. They needed something to boost the fans self esteem this year and he was the gimick. Take Jimmy off the bulls and watch them drop 20 wins off their total in the blink of an eye. Westbrook is a 6-8 game changer at best.

I believe it, smaller markets tend to offer a few more opportunities. But damn, the low hanging fruit has been disappearing for nearly the last 20 years. To consistently beat any market, one has to have a higher baseline knowledge and understanding of modeling, scraping, programming, tweaking the model and checking for errors, more outs,etc...

For me, it quit being worth it years ago. Glad to hear you're still at it and pulling a profit

Enjoy Fla, we've spent ample time in Miami/Ft Lauderdale, Fl Keys, W Palm Beach, and some time in the Destin area over the last 10-15 years, even owned a few homes in Gulfport after the crash. Let me know if you're around one of those places and are in need of any recommendations.
