brooklyn playing much improved. im taking the points without hesitation. they could easily win if they played like they did the other night vs the warriors. Joe Johnson is a beast

They hear are the sharp side I do not think they want to lose two in a row

Home court in the playoffs is very important and the heat are playing for that

    Tight early

Heat needs to stay close and then pull away with 6 minutes left in the game

Tonight is looking like another one of the Miami Heat's infamous "let's take a night off, tonight" games.

The Miami Heat is and will remain the laziest team in pro sports. They have the talent to hardly ever lose a game and the old man team that is the Nets is going to blow them off the floor.

Let's see if they decide to play or not.

Lebron never plays in a dominant manner, he never says "Give me the fukking ball!" like Kobe does and MJ did and takes over a game. That is one reason why Lebron will never be MJ.

Now Lebron is pouting on the sideline, lol.

    College B-Ball > NBA.

Give me the heart and effort of College Basketball over the better field goal percentage of the NBA any day of the week.

they scored 13 points in 2nd quarter. unfukkingreal.

lebron was pissed he didn't get the ball when he was open.

he might just hog the ball and score 30 points in the 2nd half.

The problem is Lebron never "hogs the ball" like he actually should.

He goes full on Michael Jordan mode for a few minutes then goes back to being happy with passing the ball away.

When you are clearly the most dominant player in the league, you should constantly demand the ball and do what it takes to win.

What is the worst they can do to Lebron if he hogs the ball all the time? Release him? lol. He could play at any team in a heartbeat.

after you win couple rings, it's probably hard to bring your A game daily.

hungers the biggest motivation. lebron's not hungry.

Yep, but the two guys he tries to say he is better than (overall career wise) known as Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, were hungry every single night and "brought it" every single night.

I don't like Kobe at all, but I highly respect the fact that he gives the viewers everything he possibly has every night.

Too many NBA players don't give a shit anymore.

Effort wise, there are too many Andrew Bynum's now and not enough Kobe Bryant's.

The only thing you can predict in the NBA anymore is NBA playoff series bets.

Miami Heat series bets are juiced out the ass, but they will make the Eastern Conference finals every year as long as they don't run into the Pacers before then.

All people ask from pro athletes who make millions of dollars a year for PLAYING/PARTICIPATING IN A SPORT, is just give effort. If you don't give effort, how can you claim to deserve your job?

I remember watching the documentary on HBO about the Gotti/Ward boxing match trilogy and the wars they fought in the ring and everything surrounding that and when it showed the end of the third fight they had a monologue thing with Larry Merchant and he said, "They emptied themselves for us. Gave up a piece of their lives for us. Um, thanks guys, this is why we do it."

I dislike Kobe Bryant a great deal, I think Michael Jordan is absolutely the greatest athlete ever, and Derek Jeter is my favorite athlete of all time. The things these three men have in common is they "empty themselves" for the fans and their team everytime they play on the court/field and they would die on that court/field before they gave anything less. Too many athletes now a days are just there for the paycheck and I know for damn sure that I am not the only one who wishes he saw more outright heart and unyielding passion every night when these athletes participate in the game THEY GET PAID MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO PARTICIPATE IN.

I wont ever bet on the Heat again when Wade is out. They just seem to play like total crap when he sits out. Plus, Miami doesnt even play hard for 4 quarters most night. They only played hard tonight for 1 quarter. Miami is 16-21 ATS. Thats terrible for a great team.

No Wade on a back to back against a hot Nets team... tough even for them. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

58 minute game and only 10 points from Bosh? He let you guys down. 4 for 7 inside the arc? Where are his touches?

Heat are on back to back.....and they have stopped playing defense this year...people must realize this team will not show up to play hard in any regular season game as they cannot afford to...they are gased from 3 straight finals trips and an Olympics appearance...and must conserve all their energy for the playoffs...only Bynum and Oden can save them this year...

Agree except for the last sentence. There might be one good knee between those two and enough metal to make a tv antenna.

its probably because this team knows that 8 teams in the east are going to the playoffs like every year.. and they will be at the top of that list somewhere.. once the playoffs comes.. this team turns it on..
