Why are the Spurs only -4 over Minnesota?

This seems like a light line on a neutral court between these two teams, and shouldn't the Spurs be closer to being the home team? That aside, San Antonio should be able to score at will the way the Timberwolves are playing defense (or more accurately, aren't playing) right now, and even the San Antonio defense has improved this year allowing 92.1 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting. Note that I have not made a play here yet, I am just befuddled because I thought this line would be either -6, -6.5 or -7. Am I missing something?

I have em at -6....they have struggled up there. Wolves play no defense look at that total.

The spreads that are way off are Nuggets and Pistons.....

But they're not "up there"....they're playing "down there" in Mexico.
I would think it should be -6/-7 too.
Not playing it 'cause I have enough $$ on Spurs to win the West and NBA championship.

Sorry I should have specified Mexico when I asked "shouldn't the Spurs be closer to being the home team?"

i think the line is right. it's an international game and anything could happen in this situation, but we do know that spurs are 8-1 in international games and 3-1 in mexico city.

Don't be surprised if Pop decides to rest Parker or Duncan or both.

Dont be surprised if Tony Parker gets kidnapped.

Mexico City is a dangerous place. Surprised the NBA is allowing this game to take place.

San Antonio to Mexico is no big deal, players probably take their WAGs shopping over the border on off days all the time.

San Antonio to Mexico City is about 800 miles, so about a two-hour flight. And they are in same time zone (CT).

Playing under 206. Mexico city elevation is at 7,943 feet. For comparison Denver is only 5280. See both teams tiring out late in the game.
    Is this a crazy assumption?

I've seen players tiring out and not playing D, treat this like a vacation (Mexico City) and play it like it was an all-star game, next thing you know, we got all-star score totals...

The Timberwolves have been idle since Sunday and draw San Antonio playing itsfourth game in six days. Minnesota rank among the top three in free throw shooting percentage and averaged eight more points per game than the Spurs, who have played an easier schedule and might be missing Boris Diaw.

I love how the total just keeps climbing up. Gonna pull the trigger on the 1h under but waiting to get a better total. Number currently 103.5 will likely close at 104
