didn't a report come out this year saying he was the richest athlete? Don't think that included sponsorhips but still... I think 5.9mil is pretty minimal for him. He does all his own management/promotion so he doesn't make cuts to anyone. He also gets paid a sh*t ton for his fights. Don't think he's worried about it.

Like someone mentioned, he did come out last year and post picture of his $3mil ticket on Michigan in the opener vs Alabama. Obviously he lost $3mil there but it appears he made that back tonight if his bet was true.

    Mayweather is a losing gambler

When he wins, he brags about it by posting the ticket (after the game is over, of course)

when he loses he usually doesn't post any ticket

Oh, I don't think 100 dollars is insignificant to Mayweather. He takes his money serious from what I can tell. He is a lot smarter than what most people put him out to be. I read somewhere that he has invested in a lot of real estate, businesses, etc. He also has his money working for him in interest/stock/bonds.

Do you know how quick Mayweather would be called out if he laid $50k on a game but doctored the ticket to say $5 Million??? The ticket girl at the counter would spill the beans.

Mayweather is a degenerate gambler who likes to bet on sports. That's the truth. When he began getting headlines for a million dollar super bowl bet...now it is nearly 6 mil on a game 7 of nba conference finals?? What is up with that?

His bets are getting bigger and bigger and we are going to see some fireworks if this continues. He made worldwide headlines from just a posting on twitter. Don't think he hasn't noticed that.

Hmmmm, Didn't Bieber wear this same jacket courtside at the Heat game tonight? Did Mayweather send Bieber to make sure the Heat cover the spread? Is he his good luck piece? Hmmmm?

Well sir, it is the M.O. of every great boxer in history to go broke. So why would Floyd be any different? Especially when hes a losing degen gambler and hated by the majority of fight fans. His image is shite because he likes to beat his women, so not gonna get the commentating and endorsement gigs other fighter get. I see you have a dog in this fight and that's your choice but how can you ridicule others for believing he will be broke like all the others.

Lets see if Floyd posts a ticket.
Cantor kept the line at -7.0 almost all the time and for a while, had the lowest moneyline in town on the heat at -330. I doubt they would have dealt these prices if they took a huge bet.

    No dog in this....
Actually, I think Mayweather is an arrogant f\*\*k and I roll my eyes at him more often than I praise him, aside from boxing. The truth is, no one "hating" on him, on the internet, knows his investment portfolio or what he does with his money....other than what he displays publicly. So how could Jack-off and fat-fck on the 'net know when he's going broke? You seem to know A LOT about him. Have you ever talked to him?

Let's not compare him to other boxers, this day and age is completely different...and we all know it.

Well sir, I believe he is a high school drop-out. My dislike of him for moral reasons aside, I don't think he's intelligent enough to manage his own $ and this, like with most athletes, especially boxer's, will be his down fall. He's trusting the scum he surrounds himself with to make good decisions for him. He's trusting that they won't rip him off. I see he clearly is frivolous with his expenditures. I honestly don't think hes still fighting cuz he loves boxing or to cement his legacy. In my book he already blew that. Time will tell but my $ is on him becoming another cautionary tale. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in prison, he was raised by Jakyls and crack heads.

fair enough..guess we'll see what happens to him. I, for one, don't cast stones. Whether he creates an Empire or goes broke, it doesn't affect me.

Have you read ESPN Mag.'s latest article on Mike Tyson? Recommended.
