Last night we take what Vegas gives us nailing our 2nd POY with a no doubter Pacers outright victory, similar to our POY #1 when the Warriors beat the Lakers while never trailing. The smaller added play was a dud and never close to cashing, but we make some nice profit on the night nonetheless.
Lock record: 6-3 +156x
Lock ATS: 6-1 +198x
POYs: 2-0 +135x
Tonight we look to fade a team that has won 4 of its last 5 including victories over Miami and Indiana. We look to fade a team fighting for a spot to play Brooklyn or Atlanta in the 1st round instead of New York or Indiana, and 1.5 games out of a top 4 seed which would obviously give them home court advantage in the 1st round. This is awful enough, but then we add to it that the team we are backing has nothing left to play for this year besides spoiler. Add to this that we have to lay points if we want to make this wager.
Washington Wizards -2 -102
These men will be out for the Chicago Bulls:
These men will be playing and fighting:
"We're playing for something that's bigger than just nine games left," Forward Martell Webster said. "Fighting for that ninth spot because for us, that's fuel for next year."
"We've seen it in his attitude," Wizards coach Randy Wittman said. "(Beal's) been working, and he wants to get back. That's a good sign when you've only got 10 games left. I've been in it long enough where I've seen guys say they don't want to get back in it." - Beal hit 6 treys in his return from injury this week
"We just knew what our team was, we're one of the top defensive teams, and when we play defense and play the right way, we have a chance. We just have a lot of heart and character." - John Wall after beating the Lakers last week
