    twolves are a play tonight on the spread and a sprinkle on the ml

    i almost got the heat last week with the kings. gonna try to get them this time. tough spot for miami here and i smell backdoor all over this one with minny hanging tough.

    Even with Pekovic in, they struggle to stay with Miami. You are talking about a team missing its three leading rebounders and scorers, the three (Love, Kirilenko, Pekovic) combining to average 29 rebounds and 47 points per game.

    There is only so much Rubio can do. Minnesota are just terrible right now with their big guys out and Miami are on a big winning streak which won't end tonight against a poor Wolves team.

    Miami have not beaten a team by 10+ for four straight wins discounting the Kings game and with Minnesota at home, there is some value on the spread. Best of luck.

    I'd love to jump all over this but just can't do it. I don't trust Minnesota... they embarrassed themselves at Portland. Didn't match up well with Portland... and Portland matched up well with Miami... my point is... Minnesota doesn't seem to stand a chance against them. Minnesota has zero to play for... their last few games show this... and you're basically hoping for a backdoor cover... because this game will be right around the 10 point mark. GL.

    In 7 NBA games I expect one or two blowouts. I see Portland crushing Charlotte and the next most likely is a Miami demolition of the Wolves here.

    Miami is going to break the streak against a low level team. If it gets all the way to next Sunday, it will be something like Miami -9.5 and the world will be on Indy, and Miami will still cover.

    People have been so hell bent on fading them on the ml cuz of 'value' and 'let-down' spots. But imo its pretty absurd to do that esp against teams like these.

    Minnesota is in a great spot but still, Miami is hot as hell, the best team in the league, and a lot better.

    I realize teams typically play well when their best player is out but Minnesota is missing three key players tonight.

    That doesn't mean Minnesota won't cover 10 at home but the ML seems like a tough one to hit here.
