    You could see it the other way around.

    Lebron goes in, puts up lame dunks because he can't get high enough of two feet, loses. Doesn't give a damn right now anyway and will average 35 10 10 in the week after the ASW.

    Lebron goes in, actually manages to win because he's still able to get his head at rim level, and just gets another ego booster. or maybe, to be honest, he doesn't care anyway.

    I think its a whatever-whatever situation. Between June 2011 and June 2012, yeah, that might've been a lose-lose situation. He has proved he finally was able to reach a state right now that he doesn't care what they are saying around him. And he certainly doesn't care about losing a dunk contest.
