Kobe Bryant +1000 to win MVP.

Bryant has expressed retirement possibility after 2 more seasons. Everyone knows Bryant was robbed of one for sure and maybe two MVPs back in 05 and 06. This is going to be interesting. While Lebron is certainly the favorite, I think Bryant at these odds is ridiculous for a guy that led the league in scoring for 95% of the season last year.

It's going to get a lot easier for Bryant this year with these new weapons and honestly I only see his stats getting better, especially his shooting percentage. I think he'll aim for the 50 40 90 club this year and will still average over 25 5 and 5.

I don't see the NBA allowing Bryant to retire with 1 MVP. It doesn't make any sense. This is the best futures bet you will find for a guy that will be in the top 3 discussion at the end of the year.

Bryant +1000 for MVP Risk $100

Not sure if Kobe is popular enough to win it, the MVP is a sham some years.

James Harden has a better chance than Kobe to win MVP but both almost mathemetically impossible

    Lebron 79%
    Durant 12%
    Howard 6%
    Westbook 2%
    Rondo .99 %
    Field .01%

I'd rather see someone like Chris Paul get MVP. I really don't see Kobe getting it at all

harden will average like 17 pts in houston he scored all his pts on the fast break after durant/westbrook got double teamed hes overrated...........kobe in reality is around 10-1 to win it so the odds are good at 10-1 pay off

Kobe splits votes with dwight and nash if lakers play well. Lakers would have to win 79 games for kobe to finish in the top two.

No. Jordan didn't split votes with Pippen. Lebron didn't split votes with a top 5 player in the world with Wade. Bryant will be in the top 3 at the end of the year in votes.

    You'll see.

optimistic thinking that wade is a top 5 player. i think more like top 10.

and Jordan didn't split votes because he was miles ahead of every other player in the game. there was no comparison.

We went over this already. Bryant was robbed of 1-2 MVPs for the rape incident. Every player in the league knows this.

The league won't allow a top 3 player in NBA history to retire with 1 MVP. It's not gonna happen. It's gonna get rigged for Bryant either this year or the next.

MJ didn't win a mvp when he averaged 37+ points per game, why should Kobe have won one for 35 points per game, rape trial or not. Teams were not good thus no mvp. Winning regular season mvp's should not be important at the end of Kobe's career. Why else would he want so much help?

I'll take Field for the max 10,000-1.

Deron Williams could be in the picture.

You're right - a top 3 all-time player would not retire with 1 MVP. But what the hell does that have to do with Kobe?

lechoke and durant play in a way that on any given night, they could get hurt...both of them sit out a chunk of the year and kobe has a great chance to win...not a bad future bet at all, imo. you guys talk like the guy can barely walk, when a good portion of last year, he was the best player on the court
