i really cant understand this tennis market...it isnt real that vesnina is fav against sloane stephens..she is only good in doubles, in singles nothing special and player that can easily be defeated.

Correct me if Im wrong idk womens tennis that well but Sloane has never made a final before, she struggled mightily in her last match with young american Lauren Davis and Vesnina makes few unforced errors and the match and pressure should rely heavily on Sloane's shoulders

Bad day yesterday, first one in a couple of weeks, looking to bounce back today. Will update my record now.

    NBA Thursday

    NY @ Indiana
    Pacers -5 (-108, $1.92 IAS,Sportsbet) 2x
If it's not broken then don't fix it.

    Dallas @ Sacramento
    Kings -2.5 (-107, $1.93 Pinnacle) 1.5x
*Full strength team with Thornton back, not sure I'm happy about Evans being back however as long as they continue to play inside out through Cousins and put the ball in Thomas hands late in the game then things should work out ok. On paper Sacramento actually has far more talent than the Mav's, their problem (as always) has been getting them to gel. Anyway the Kings have a bunch of impressive wins lately over more dangerous teams than the Mavericks. I'll take the 10-8 home Kings over the 5-16 road Mavericks who just simply aren't as good a team as their reputation suggests. Watch Demarcus abuse Kaman badly if he has his head switched on today.

    NBA Totals

    Miami @ Portland
    Over 195 (-101, $1.99 Pinnacle) 1x

    NBA card complete.

No time for write ups. Got to put in work on the tennis.

Bad day in the tennis yesterday, down about 3 units, hoping to turn things around today.

    Tennis

    ATP Aukland

    Querry v Kohlschreiber
    Querry m/l (-138, $1.72 Pinnacle) 2.5x
*Watched Sam today (2nd set) against Levine. Sometimes I forget how hard this guy hits the ball, and his accuracy has improved tremedously in the last 12 months. Sam's serve was crisp and big with a lazy 14 aces to 1 DF. This guys serve is top 5 in the game but unlike many of the other big bombers on tour he has the grounstrokes to back up the serve. Great control over his f/h led to 84% 1st serve points won and 75% on the 2nd. I'd say early season rust is not a problem for the big fella. Kolly's wins nothing special, 3 sets to get past Falla and then a tight one today against has been Malisse.

Philipp Kohlschreiber has lost 4 of last 5 when Opponent is a Big Server.
Philipp Kohlschreiber has lost 4 of last 5 when priced as Underdog (+100 to +199).

    Ferrer v Monfils
    Over 21.5 (Evens, $2.00 Pinnacle) 1x

    WTA Hobart

    Stevens v Vesnina
    Stevens -1.5 (Evens, $2.00 Pinnacle) 2.5x

    ATP Sydney

    Tomic v Seppi
    Tomic -2.5 (-105, $1.95 Pinnacle) 1x

    Aus Open Qualifiers

*I am actually betting the qualifiers today (unlike the other day when I was just tracking my bets to see how me early reads were - poor).

    Women

    Dushevina v Min
    Min m/l (+132, $2.32 Pinnacle) 1x
    (Starts in 15 minutes)

    Chan v Falconi
    Chan m/l (-200, $1.50 Bet 365) 2x
*Chan on the rise, recent defeats of Wickmayer, Heather Watson, Jankovic. On the other hand Falconi just loses (8-12 last 20, against mainly ITF level players). Big mismatch.

    Woerle v Duan
    Duan m/l (-181, $1.55 Pinnacle) 2x

    Men

    Eysseric v Ram
    Eysseric m/l (+210, $3.10 Pinnacle) 0.5x

    Blake v Young
    Blake m/l (-200, $1.50 Pinnacle) 1x
*I cannot believe I am actually putting real money on Blake but it's the correct play here. Blake suprisingly playing well and Donald Young is, well Donald Young...

James Blake has won 8 of last 9 on Hard Court.
Donald Young has lost 4 of last 5 at Grand Slam level.
James Blake has won 4 in a row when Opponent is a Fellow Countymen.
Donald Young has lost 6 in a row when Opponent is a Fellow Countymen.

    Yani v Chen
    Chen m/l (+169, $2.69 Pinnacle) 0.5x
*Odds are wrong here and price is generous on Chen.
Ti Chen has won 5 of last 6 when priced as Underdog (+100 to +199).

    ________________________________________ ____________________________

    Australian Open Futures - pending
    Serena Williams to win (-109, $1.91 IAS/Sportsbet) 3x

    ________________________________________ ________________________

2-4 Yesterday in the Tennis -3.24 Units

    Tennis 65-52-7 (55.6%) +25.41 Units

    YTD - 32-26-2 (55.2%)

*I'd say the percentages are looking pretty healthy considering that I play a lot of dog's at the m/l

    Granollers m/l (+120, $2.20 Pinnacle) 1.5x - Loser
    Querry 2-0 (or -1.5 Sets) (-110, $1.90 Pinnacle) 1.5x - Cash It
    Haas/Monfils Over 22.5 (-111, $1.91 Pinnacle) 1x - Cash It
    Istomin +2.5 (-123, $1.81 Pinnacle)
    1.5x - Loser
    Istomin m/l (+160, $2.60 Pinnacle) 1x - Loser
    Li m/l (-125, $1.80 IAS/Sportsbet) 1.5x - Loser

I know you know... but just in case... after this mate, maybe scale back in tennis until the first round of Melbs. Not sure if you were watching yesterday but announcers were full on speculating who would tank, etc because they weren't expecting to get this far so their training time was fukked. I was a bit shocked but they all made sense and paid off. Anyway, GL to you!

I'd note that in the interview with Monfils after the match they were saying to him Ferrer has never beaten you and he was saying something a long the lines of "I dunno, well tomorrow like he is in good form and I am very tired'

Yeah you are most definitely right Shari, and thanks for any advice you share, worth it's weight in gold. I really shouldn't be playing this many matches so early in the season, rather out of character as i have been quite disciplined with the NBA and yet in the tennis seem to be "finding value" in every third match. Sticking mainly with the qualifiers today, as usual there seems to be a few lines that are a bit off.

I see you have have O21 on Monfils. What do you think about +4.5? I made a small play on ML just as a shot. I think he isnt getting much credit because of past injury.

Yeah have to agree with Davo, I didnt see the commentary, but just based on players...
I can see Ferrer be the only one turning up to play here. I don't think Monfils is 100% from his niggling injuries and he will most likely look to stay healthy for Aus Open...

I had Querrey also Sando in a small parlay. Sam is getting his AZZ kicked out there. He is gonna lose in less than one hour. What a shame, I love Querrey & I really thought he had a good shot of making a final here and beating Kohl. I pretty much hate Kohl, when I take him he seems to be freaking HORRIBLE. If I bet against him, he plays flawless. ARG!!!

Best of luck the rest of the night sir

Kohl MIGHT be 5'9". I find it crazy that Sam can't even get CLOSE on his service games!!! I have seem Kohl play live, he looks more like 5 foot freaking 6! And he is holding serve at will???? Double ARG@!

Agree. This guy is pretty questionable To bet on (or against) Personally i think he should never be considered as a favourite. Has some shocking losses and then you see him play great and pull off some amazing shots out of fffing nowhere against opponents that are ranked well above
