*Watched Sam today (2nd set) against Levine. Sometimes I forget how hard this guy hits the ball, and his accuracy has improved tremedously in the last 12 months. Sam's serve was crisp and big with a lazy 14 aces to 1 DF. This guys serve is top 5 in the game but unlike many of the other big bombers on tour he has the grounstrokes to back up the serve. Great control over his f/h led to 84% 1st serve points won and 75% on the 2nd. I'd say early season rust is not a problem for the big fella. Agree. This guy is pretty questionable To bet on (or against) Personally i think he should never be considered as a favourite. Has some shocking losses and then you see him play great and pull off some amazing shots out of fffing nowhere against opponents that are ranked well above
