    I know its pre season.....

    But man the Lakers look like dog shit.

    I figured they would without Howard, and with Kobe and gasol playing in the Olympics. But theyre worse than I thought they would look.

    Kobe has played in 2 games and taken a total of 14 shots. not sure what to read into that. But he is putting some decent minutes in in those games, around 25 or so I would guess. So it isnt like he is playing a quarter and then sitting.

    The kiss of death for them will be if they re-sign fisher, if they do that then you know theyre in desperation mode.

    But its never too early to talk about the Lakers and how theyre going to be money in the bank fading them.

    Problem is if Howard doesnt play then the lines wont be that great on them, especially after a few games.

    Boston 1-4 OKC 1-2 Clippers 1-2 Lakers 0-4 yet all these teams make playoffs easily when it matters

    just warming them up.

    Lakers will suck ATS this year like they always have. If Howard can play half the games this season reasonably well they'll win 45-47 games. If he is back and as good as he ever was they will win 58. If he doesnt play at all they'll win 35.

    I hope he plays, I hope they win 60 games, and then I hope they get buried in the play offs like they have the past few years, that is always the best. especially when the lakers think they have some super team. The year they crashed and burned with Malone, Kobe, Shaq, and Peyton was epic. What would be the best scenario is if the Clippers knocked them out.

    Well we have 9 more months anything can happen between now and then. The full NBA is back and it is the longest and most boring season in any major sport (NHL isnt major sports anymore) so we need something to spice it up.
