    Jeremy Lin to the Rockets

Boy u would think the best point guard in the world would be staying put.

RT @SpearsNBAYahoo: Jeremy Lin appears close to being a Houston Rocket with Raymond Felton to NY deal close to done.

Felton back to Knicks would be interesting, better than Lin but that's not saying much though.

You would think it would be worth keeping Jeremy Lin in New York based alone on his Asian following.

    That's big business.

He signed a offer sheet which NY will match since he is a restricted free agent

No way Knicks can afford to match that offer sheet...not with the third year @$15 mil...they'll have 4 players (Amare, Melo, Chandler and Lin) on the books for $75 mil at that point in 2014

Knicks would be wise to let him go to Houston to much money

Lin's dick is wet no matter who winds up with him. Getting a million for every game he started last year. Friggin cray.

Guy is set for life now cause he's an Asian that played ONE month of good ball in his whole career

Agreed. Lin has value for Knicks but at this price it's absurd. Let Houston take the risk.

Lin has "Bird Rights", which allows whatever team that signs him to go over salary cap w/o penalty.

The Rockets are so retarded, if the overpay him it's proof they are only concerned with selling shit in China and not with winning. You let him go and then overpay to get him back, what the **** is he? Union Rags?

No way NY doesn't sign Lin. The Knicks weren't even on the map anymore until Linsanity happened. Regardless, the Heats aren't going to be dethrone by an East team for the 3-4 years.

Not talking about this year. Bird rights don't really matter all that much to Knicks this season. There's a big reason Houston offered the deal broken up 5/5/15 to get $25 mil, and that's because the Knicks are going to be buried in 2014 if they match that offer sheet. So Houston is hoping that NYK won't match by making the offer they did. Bird rights make no difference down the road when Knicks are so far over the cap with 4 guys they can't even fill out a full bench

The Knicks are horrible. They give "Mr. One dimensional" Steve Novak 16 million and can't see spending money on Landry Fields or Jeremy Lin?

Knicks only care about making the playoffs so they can sell tickets. That's it. There's no rudder on that ship.

Just an odd decision if true that Lin not back in a Knick uniform. Kid has so much potential. Kidd fcked as well since he did say he wanted to mentor Lin. Knicks will get older, fatter, and more out of shape with Felton as there point guard.

Knicks suck. They just got another out of shape fatty to feed Melo the ball. Great move by the organization to keep their young talent

Knicks are an inexplicably profitable trainwreck at MSG. Very frustrating team to follow. I will save my money for the Rangers games.

Why would anyone rip the Knicks over this move? Felton is far better than Lin

Houston signing him is a head scratcher considering they're clearing all this cap space to get d Howard next year

Felton sucks. He sucked last year with Portland. Lol...Felton better than Lin. Now you have 2, 40 year olds to feed Marsh-Melo.

I guess 28 is the new 40 eh?

you know who sucks? Jeremy Lin.

And not only does he suck he'll also be vastly overpaid.

In no other sport are there so many bad contracts as the nba. Unreal.

Lol, Felton fat, and out of shape just like Marshmelo. He sure played like an out of shape over-the-hill clown last year. Lin sucks? Does one game prove that to you? So short-sighted just like the fcks of the Knicks organization. How many bad contracts did the Knicks org. dole out of the years? And they just decided to stop at Line? Pathetic.

The guy is a marketing dream in NY. He would generate much more in revenue than his salary in NY. NY must sign this kid. LynnSanita was one of the biggest stories of the year.

yikes..... houston making no sense $25 million over three years. I hope he plays well, seems like a nice kid.

Time to blow up the knicks again? Can't get much older, have no cap space, no youth and no draft picks.
