    LOL @ People Taking OKC

This is the NBA guys, better and more experienced teams win playoff series the overwhelming majority of the time

San Antonio is better than OKC in every way - more experience, better inside game, better defense, better bench, better 3 point shooting and they have homecourt advantage

This series would be around - 250 to - 300 if OKC wasn't so beloved by the public and San Antonio was such a "boring team" that people dislike. SA's gonna win the championship this year

edit: For the record I never said back SA's spread here in game 1, I think they're gonna win the series regardless of how close the games are. I don't play spreads in basketball anymore

    Last year

Dallas beat OKC - Dallas way more experienced, more depth, better shooters
Miami beat Chicago - Miami way more experienced, more star power, better players

    2010

Lakers over Phoenix - Lakers more experienced, better team
Boston over Orlando - Boston more experienced, similar quality in talent

    2009

Lakers over Denver - Lakers better team, more experience
Orlando over Cleveland - kind of a draw here

    2008

Lakers over San Antonio - Lakers better team, similar experience
Boston over Detroit - Boston much better team, similar experience

Being a "sharp" in the NBA playoffs is retarded. You play the obvious in the NBA playoffs cause the obvious is exactly what happens. Everybody predicted Chicago, Miami, SA and OKC final four and the only reason you didn't have that is because of the Rose injury

no I don't play spreads anymore. I'm just making a big play on SA - 190 for the series line (which is the line I got)

I kind of agree with Brahma on this one. The way the line is set... and also series price... I think not only San Antonio Covers -5.5 I think they win like around 15.

    San Antonio -5.5 Game 1.

If you make a thread laughing at OKC backers, why are you being a pussy and not betting San Antonio -5.5?

Okc is my hometown team and I'm even betting spurs -5.5 tonight for 300. I think spurs take game 1 and may have problem in game 2. That's what I think

Westbrook and Durant two best players on the court all the time

What about Harden? Wouldn't he be the fourth best player behind Tony Parker?

the 2nd best player on the court right now is Duncan, 3rd best is close between Parker/Westbrook and 5th and 6th is very close between Manu and Harden

The issue is that I think the San Antonio big 3 works better than OKC's big 3 cause you have a point, a wing and a great interior player instead of having 3 guys who are all jumpshooters

OKC would be better off trading westbrook for a great big man and have harden as your point

    No they wouldn't.

I'm pretty sure Westbrook and Harden can take it to the hoop.

The Spurs big three probably does compliment each other better but Westbrook isn't a guy you want to trade.

I would take a Center who can score 15 ppg and defend the paint over Westbrook by a big margin. Harden is an excellent choice to play your point guard and that would work better than what OKC has going now I think

the issue with OKC's offense is the jump shooting, lack of interior game and they struggle and get a little stagnant in their half court offense at timesbecause their big 3 are all fairly similar players (it's just one iso play after another)

    2. Westbrook.
    3. Parker.

Parker is not as good of an overall player, but he is smarter, he's calmer, and he's also a true point guard. Westbrook doesn't really look to set up his teammates too much. Most of his assists comes from giving it to Durant off screens. Westbrook is really a 2 guard.

Timmy D is the 2nd best player on the court right now

Ginobli I think might be the x-factor here. Also Kawahi Leonard has game. OKC may need more fire power than the big 3.

Spurs tonight. Parker will draw OKC all night and chunk assist to his 3pt shooters. OKC not deep enough to contend with Spurs. Will be a great series though.
