Scott Foster should not be reffing games

In 2008 Tim Donaghy indicated that Scott Foster was a ref that also fixed games

"Records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he's confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers."
"The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering."

FYI, following the betting lines on tonights game:
    Vegas line:
    Monday 10:00am OKC(+1.5)
    Monday 11:30am OKC(+1.0)
    Monday 2:30pm OKC(even)
    Monday 5:30pm OKC(-1.0)
With the line jumping moving by 2.5 points in the 6 hours before the game, Vegas must have had a large amount of money being bet on OKC, justifying that line move.
At the same time, a large number of major online betting sites saw their lines jump the same 2.5 points right before the game.
    SBGGLOBAL.com:
    Monday 4:30pm OKC(+1.5)
    Monday 5:24pm OKC(-1)
    JustBet:
    Monday 4:30pm OKC(+1)
    Monday 5:14pm OKC(-1)
    BetOnline:
    Monday 2:00pm OKC(+1.5)
    Monday 5:30pm OKC(-1.0)
    BookMaker:
    Monday 1:00pm OKC(+1.5)
    Monday 5:45pm OKC(-1.0)
Good news for whoever bet that large amount of money before the game, as OKC managed to pull out the win...

Not sure how much Foster had on the Thunder. But with the calls he made at the end of the game it had to of been plenty.

Nice, time to bet on OKC when Foster is reffing.

Anyone remember when OKC played Portland earlier this year in Portland when the Blazers were stii relevant? Foster called a goaltend on Aldridge w/ just seconds left in the game which tied the game. It was clearly a clean block. Goaltend forced the game into OT where OKC won. It was pretty obvious that Foster needed OKC to win.

If you read the Tim Donaghy book he explains all the phone calls. Foster was investigated by the FBI, but they didn't find anything that showed that he was fixing or betting on NBA games. Foster and Donaghy were real good friends according to Donaghy's book. Donaghy claims that him and Foster would talk for hours on the phone daily. Not sure if the guy fixed games with Donaghy, but his reffing is horrible half the time I see him.

So it is said and so it shall be done. Refs have decreed no defense shall be played on Philly in this 3rd quarter. 4 personal fouls in less than 3:30 minutes is a bit telling.

Refs are probably on the over and have to get this game to OT somehow =p.

Over 50 attempts at the line for both teams combined speaks for itself. No way this game should have sniffed 175 no way. Somehow it did though. You leave the door open long enough, ya know.

You do realize the Sixers shot 17 more FT's than Boston?

Get a clue. If anything the refs were favoring the Sixers.
