Going fairly big on the Lakers +8 -106 and ML +385

See the lakers are always a public darling. The public almost always backs them but now they are off the train and have jumped on board the okc train. Books know better. Line opened the same despite huge game 1 blowout.

Blowout loss means nothing to lakers mentally. They are old but experienced and I expect them to give a full out effort here and this game is going right to the wire.

OKC played perfect in game 1 but expect that not to repeat. OKC will struggle and that will allow LA to hang around and have a shot to win at the end.

    Lakers +8 -106 (15x)

    Lakers Ml +385 (4x)

Biggest part of what you just said is that the blowout means nothing. Squares won't be able to get Game 1 out of their head. Like the Lakers give a shit about being blown out lol. Pretty sure every time they've ever been blown out they follow it up with a win.

I like it LB. No chance in hell the Lakers get dominated two playoff games in a row. Lakers should respond tomorrow.

All LA needs to do is put Kobe on Westbrook, and Metta on Durant.

Then they need to work through Bynum and Gasol.

Are they smart enough to do that?

I doubt we shoot like we did in game one, with that said, we were like 7th in the league in point scored in the paint and outscored the Lakers in the paint in game 1.

I think the notion that we are a jump shooting team is a bit of a myth. Notice how we take open shots while Kobe takes shots with Sefolosha in his back pocket?

Everyone talks about how the Lakers size could give us problems but we have scored over 100 every game we have played against them this year.

If the Lakers make adjustments, Harden will be the X factor.

OKC is the better team but LA could
Cover if they don't play like idiots.

That's because we like to stalk our prey before we eat it.

Anyway, wasn't OKC up like 10 after the first quarter last game?

Okc makes jumpers = OKC cover
Okc less than 45% = Coin flip
    Okc less than 45 + westbrook less then 35% = Lakers cover/win

Not getting his bigs enough touches. You have two talented 7-footers down low who often either struggle or become non-factors altogether in games. For the Lakers to have any chance at all in this series, they need to establish their posts and go from there. Slow the game down more and not try to run and gun with OKC.

Thunder had 98 points through three quarters last night. 98 fvcking points. No defense, no half-court game -- just trash. Lakers were shit, and Brown is the one who is responsible. He is the coach.

You are always so quick to just place blame on the coach.

The Thunder made everything. Literally, everything. They were able to get out on the break at times as well. Overall though, Game 1 was never going to be a good spot for the Lakers. They were coming off a long, emotional series and the Thunder had to listen to everyone talk about how rusty they were going to be. OKC wasn't going to let that happen and they came in prepared and ready to go.

As for the bigs, I thought LA was trying to get them established. Sometimes when things start going the wrong way, you get out of your offensive rhythm. It's not like Kobe was firing away all night. They seemed to do a decent amount of in and out ball movement which is why Artest was having a good game (at least early anyway).

Gasol and Bynum were talking after the game. Expect a lot of high-low between those two in Game 2. In my opinion, Gasol should be playing in the high post at the elbow a lot more than he does. Part of that is on Brown but the truth is that that's not something that players need to be told. That's just part of playing the game. In fact, Brown doesn't really need to do squat. These guys have all played together for years now with the exception of Sessions. They know what to do out there it's just a matter of doing it.

Lakers just can't do it... they will hang for a while, but against teams like this... they have to play 5x better than they did vs Denver... and eventually things start to go wrong for them, bad turnovers... easy shots missed, mistakes on D... they fall behind, they start to force it and Kobe starts to go into chuck it mode.

next thing you know, down 15-20 and they don't give a sht anymore

that is THIS LA... this is not 09 or 2010

just like when i guaranteed that Denver game 6 win, same thing going... LA is TRASH (they shouldn't be, but they R)

Okc showed us the same thing barea did last year: the lakers weakness is the pick and roll.

If okc plays the way they did in game one, they sweep.
Okc game one offensive effIciency: 135
Okc began the 3rd quarter with a 22-5 run in six minutes.
    3rd quarter offensive efficiency: 161

    161.

And the bench held the lead of 30 pts throughout the 4th quarter.

Be wary of betting against this team

Gasol doens't give a fukk anymore and the second thing is Ibaka guarding him. LA can't even try to play trough him you stupidos

And Kobe is locked like a little sh1thead by Sefolosha. And Bynum can't drop 40 and win a game. Lakers are dooooooooooooomed
